Description
At an undisclosed location, a celebration is underway, with SuperMum the unwilling guest of honour. It would appear someone is willing to pay a large sum of money to get their hands on her!Earlier.........
At the last moment, as the concrete was set to totally encase our stricken heroine, her gag was cut and a tube forced into her mouth. Her struggles were in vain as the concrete hardened around her, sealing her within.Β
Time had no meaning for the helplessly trappedΒ superheroine as the concrete blocked that was her tomb was hoisted on to a truck and transported away....but to where??
Her muffled pleads and cries fell on death ears..............

What a fiendish trap!
Although completely helpless at this point, I imagine SM frantically wiggling her fingers in a desperate attempt to do something, anything to fight back, and this is the one thing that she can do, even if it is pointless. Her pleading and crying in her concrete tomb, however, which is very unsuperhero-like behavior, is a sign that she knows there is nothing she can do.

That is the most terrifying peril I've ever seen! She can't see, can't hear and totally immobile!

That is why Super Mum is one of the best comics around. She is defeated even when fighting valiantly and often falls to being overwhelmed by great numbers of bad guys.Β As long as there is breath in her lungs I'd say she'll find a way out. Maybe she can vibrate her way inside the cement block or wait until whoever purchased her and then escape when he gloats about capturing her. Then again, who knows? Maybe she let herself get captured so she could get the drop on the guy who bought her. Perhaps he is 'MR BIG'

Even with a tube to breathe the concrete would kill her, extracting all the water in her body... It's mean^^

Let's look at this from a "glass half full" perspective - the breathing tube means they want to keep her alive.Β Sure, some negative Nellie is probably all about "horrible nefarious plans" and all that, but seriously, that kind of attitude just brings everyone down.Β
