)Part 4 - Friends and Allies......Batman plays his hand
As Mercy tries to sneak up on the Amazon Princess, she can't help crying out as the baseball bat is renched from her hand, the batarang dug deep into the wood.........
She now finds herself between a rock and a hard place, or rather an Amazon and a Bat......begging for.....*coughs*.....ermm.....mercy!!
"Diana, I can take it from here", the distinctive tones of Batman ring out from the shadows. "J'onn wants you back at the Watchtower".
Wonder Woman slowly lowers her clenched fist, that was just seconds ago ready to send Lex's PA through the wall behind her.
She allowed herself a small smile, knowing that leaving Mercy with Batman, would be more terrifying for the woman than anything she could have done to her!
As Wonder Woman departs, Mercy's pleads ring loud in her ears.
"No wait....you can't leave me with....with...him........"
"Now, Mercy..........we're going to have a little chat......."

I had an idea that the clone could be incarcerated in The Watchtower, with several of the JLA staring at her.......just never got around to it.......yet!
