I don't hate it, but something about it seems off. Maybe if you rose and lower the hands, quills and legs slightly, while making the feet follow the path of the legs in a wave motion, it would give it a more realistic "floating from sheer willpower" thing instead of a "Hovering because of magnets" thing this seems to be giving.
If you have it, crack open your Super Smash Brothers: Brawl Game case, put it in your Wii and hit the Training mode with Sonic as your main, then give him a Smash ball. Then just Idle Sonic there and take notes on how he floats, it'll help you show how the Professionals did it so you can make this animation smoother and more pleasing to the eye.
