I love this song, it's so inspiring and emotional, so I had to draw a picture according to it =3
Maybe this is going to be a scene in my ff, it's my character Caedes, who fits perfectly to this song. After losing his brother and being banished of his pack, he had a hard life as an apostate assassin, in addition he's insane by nature. I love him <3

I'm not saying that it makes the picture a failure. I think that the picture is beautiful, but I commented on the head because, if someone points out your mistakes you can fix them, or work on your skills in that area so you don't make that mistake. So by criticizing a piece of art, even one the artist is happy with, and pointing out their mistakes, will hopefully lead to even better art in the future, because they will have (hopefully) practiced so that they don't make that mistake anymore. Praise and adoration are great, it makes them feel good and like their art is great (which it is) but try to point out something on which they can improve, but in a nice way. It doesn't take much to say "cool", or "great", but constructive criticism can be a lot more helpful.

Unfortunately, I posted that in the first few months that I was on dA, and was still getting used to the system. So forgive me if I'm not some amazingly worded art critic in 2 weeks. I saw something that maybe needed fixing, and I pointed it out. I can't help it if you found it offensive, though I have no idea why, as it does not apply to you or your art. If it would satisfy you, I could give a critique on the picture, pointing out things that needed fixing, complementing the way she's done the background (which is very beautiful), and commending the sheer amount of time and effort put into this picture. But seriously, how does my drawing ability come into this?

I have to agree with you. The picture is very beautiful, but I think the head may be a little dominant. Or maybe the forehead is a little bit too large? Either way, just an opinion. Maybe its the artists style.

Echt, da ist dir ein hervorragendes Bild gelungen! Wenn man es anschaut, dann merkt man gleich: Das ist vollständig, das ist fertig, das ist eine runde Sache, bei er sich jemand Gedanken um die "Komposition" gemacht hat.
Man sieht, du hast dir verdammt viel Arbeit gemacht, mit dem Wolf, mit dem Hintergrund. Und das hat sich voll und ganz gelohnt! Bitte mach das auch in Zukunft so, denn SO muss ein fertiges Bild aussehen! *sabber*
Ich kann mich kaum sattsehen an dem Bild. Schon die Kontraste, die du eingebaut hast, sind atemberaubend: Der helle Höhleneingang und die dunklen Ecken, der im Schatten stehende Wolf und die hell schillernde, detailreiche Eisfläche... wow. Auch die Präsentation hier, mit dem Songtext etc., ist wahnsinnig gut gelungen. Das macht einfach Eindruck.
Wirklich gutes Bild! Man merkt: Du hast es drauf. Und deine Bilder werden von Mal zu mal besser...

Erstmal ist das kein Spiegel, sondern eine Eiswand...warum sie einen Riss hat, kann man sich schon aus dem Titel ableiten (shattered= zerbrochen), das zeigt seine düstere Vergangenheit und "zerbrochene" Seele.
Wenn das Alter von einem Wolf/Hund in dem Artist's Comment steht, kannst du dir das auch selbst ausrechnen ( 1 hundejahr = ca. 7 menschenjahre). Dieser hier wäre in Menschenjahren ca. 35 Jahre alt.
