A sketch done in 2 days, what a nice feeling to get an idea drawn so quickly, almost at Sonic speed
I've seen quite a few of these pictures of characters passing the torch through a hi-5 (Harry Potter and Newt Scamander, 12th and 13th Doctors, Yusei Fudo and Yuma Tsukuo from Yu-Gi-Oh!) and I thought about incorporating this theme with Sonic the Hedgehog.

The solution came to me from the movie trailer when Sonic says "Here Comes The BOOM!" which made me think of the Sonic Boom spin offs which have done their best to keep the franchise going for a few years along with the main stream games and media.
Come on you have to admit at the very least, it was nice having the TV series in pre-rendered cutscene quality and Mike Pollock as Eggman.

I figured if there was any dialogue in my picture, it'd be BOOM Sonic saying to Teen/Movie Sonic: "Give them the Sonic BOOM that I never could"

I also got to test my drawing skills as I traced the BOOM Sonic over my laptop screen (that's a first) from a screenshot of series 1 episode 2, about half way through but Teen Sonic was drawn mostly free hand from when Sonic says "Ha HA, Nailed It!"
