Description
You know the feeling when you have been fighting for long hours, with your loved one? And you no longer can remember what it was that started the fight in the first place. You can't even bring yourself to be angry or hurt anymore... then you reach out and just touch eachother, and you know this is all that is needed for it to be OK again. No words, no nothing... A sigh of relief comes across your lips. And you feel all warm... the fierce storm inside you has subsided and the inner calm fills your chest.Yes I know you know the feeling, because we have all been there, haven't we?

Sorry, but to me the pic shows almost the opposite of what you say.
Red is not a colour that symbolizes tranquility, red is the colour of fire. Fire that's burning deep inside.
And also the burnt skin is way too hard to be coherent with tranquility.
To symbolize tranquility you should take a pic of a babyblue ocean and blue skies. And also the hole in his skin should not be this way.
But I think it would be less work to turn this pic into an expression for an explosion of emotions by exchanging the ocean picture through a picture of Lava, a volcano or some other kind of really burning fire. Important is that we have a lot more of fire colours.

Those are intresting thoughts. And I do understand what you mean. Altho, the photograph when it was taken, was after a storm, and just after it had stopped raining. So when I stood, looking out over the ocean taking the photo, that represented calm to me. And well the stock photo, somehow showed me a couple, just after a fight, that first touch and embrace after you have had a real tough argument, perhaps even a physical fight. So to me, this really displays inner calm. But I do see, how to the "outside" eyes, it could represent something entirely different.
