I usually use After Effects CS5. It's very good for motion graphics. Back in the day, I used Photoshop/ImageReady but that was a lot clunkier. There's a lot of free sites and programs out there that can do the same thing for simple GIFs like these though! I just prefer using Adobe programs because I'm a control-freak

Thanks for responding. When I make GIFs, I use ezgif, but the size availability is more limited now and the file sizes are very large. But it's the best quality free GIF-making program I've found yet.
