"Friend" would imply a preference of individuals to be around. Sphinks loves anything that moves and makes noise, especially humans!
But i think her real problem is she doesn't understand whats so interested about colored paper.

There goes the collectors value on those cards with ink all over them. Wonder if they'll come alive now. Ha ha!
I sorta feel for her, I remember buying a lot of Magic the Gathering cards years ago, wanting to play with friends. But I never did find anyone I could play with, or at least someone to help teach me the game better. Otherwise I probably would've still been attempting to play it. Now I just stick to digital card games.
