Description
So while I was bull-shitting some idea to scare my sister (some alien race I made up to bug her), I realized it was actually an awesome idea.

I figured a NOISULLI's small scales could "flip over" to show a reflective side that could produce an "illusion" (hence their name Noisulli = Illusion), reflecting at certain angles to make them look different or blend in with their surroundings.

This is a bad example of it and not how I imagined it at all, but their scales are super small and hard to see without going really upclose, so the motion of them altering their looks would be smooth and nearly unnoticable.

Also their scales when standing upright, though they are very small, they're sharp like razors.

This drawing actually shows it after a huge turn around in the storyline (which I have yet to do!) where they're put in artificial bodies after the Crystalids wiped out 99% of their old DNA. (This part of the story is titled "NEWera") Their new bodies actually do create a hologram-like cover, rather than scales.

But.... I liked the idea so I'm keeping it. xD

Also I have no idea how Ranul's hairstyle would work if he were a person...... XDDD This was just for fun, he never does become "human" ever.
