Description
Ubirajara is tiny Compsognathid in Crato Formation, Brazil. But only fossil of Ubirajara is headless upper body, and soft tissue preservation is not complete. Therefore I didn't attach the Ubirajara's unusual keratin tissue to its shoulder, and instead reconstructed it assuming that it was a head feather supported by muscles like a King of Saxony's Bird of Paradise (Pteridophora alberti).www.sciencedirect.com/science/…
