just a little something I added to her massive arsenal for a little change... Samus dose pretty much blast everything into oblivion but who knows what other skills a Chozo warrior can posses?

((I think it would be great if she could pull some serious martial arts and just beat down on a few Space Pirates. That would be fun. ))

if it was an energy blade attached to her arm like the old grapple beam from prime 1 it would be cool
like stealing the pirates technology of their arm blades (so she can turn it on and off)
but a real blade with a handle and everything? where will she put it if not in use?
+ no matter how fancy you make its design, such a weapon with a handle wont fit her imo

Right you are! How observant! and I have indeed thought of that since this little doodle was created... after all it was merely whimsy. I have since come up with another picture of Samus with such an apperatus attached to her forearm (although not the main idea of the pic) Soon to be posted...Maby.

Very nice. I am a Metroid fan, And I have always thought Samus would be cool with a secondary weapon such as a sword, Nicely done!

Well thank you! not many have sead anything about this picture much less this idea in general. Im glad you appreciate it. I think (with how she is portrayed nowadays) Samus would be apt to using some marcial weapons when the situation would call for it. Heck, the suit would probably have some back up form such as a heavy blade (hence the appearence of the sword) This drawing itself is actually a tiny scetch that I hadnt spent much time on so the sword is really more of a whimsy than something planned out and could defenately use some tweaking.
