Description
An anthropomorphic P-51 Mustang comes in for a landing.I can't really say where this idea came from. I just really happen to like the old fighters of World War II. I also wanted to make a large digital picture.
I'm rather happy with this one, it took a lot less time than most of my usual digital stuff, and it came out fairly well. I think I'm finally figuring out a method for working in photoshop that I like. I also learned a lot about custom brushes.
Of course, if the pilot were smart he'd be landing into the wind, not with it. Let's just pretend that the winds shifted mid landing

I basically couldn't draw human faces worth shit, so I drew stuff like this. I never intended this pic for fetish use, though I know some people used it for that. Rule 34 man, rule 34.

never have i seen an anthro plane, but you pulled it off excellently. and p-51s have always been one of my favorite planes. theyre so aggressive!

I'm not an aircraft fan (tough I have some fav ones) but when I saw this I decided I HAVE to comment it. First and foremost BRILLIANT (!!!!!) idea. And second - no matter how weird it might sound - he is just pretty darn sexy (never thought I'd say that about a plane).

Excellent work. Beautiful use of color and lighting, and an intriguing subject. What is the scale on the character? Is he human sized or mustang sized? Actually, more importantly, how does he get his pants on? Looking forward to the next one, and hoping for something with a B-17.

Woah dude, ok...er ya my dads a pilot so he was lookin at it like, "Why the hell is he landing with the wind? It's gonna ruin his head or propellar or nose or whatever he calls is!" I realized he was landing in the wrong direction halfway through the painting! So maybe he was originally coming into the wind but it changed on him. Glad you liked it!
