A small three page comic about what some Hellflowers do in their free time.
This is only somewhat related, but I feel like rambling. I was raised Catholic but left (in no small part to the child abuse cover-ups). Recently, our most devout family member died, and I’m still processing it.
Whenever anyone bought a new car she would come to fill it with saints. She was forgetful so I had a collection of rosary's to lend her. Every entry in the house had a crucifix above it. I still feel comfort in the presence of ritual objects even if I distrust the church that makes them. Someone cared about them once. That means something.
I think Hibiscus 13 feels similarly.
I miss her.
