Left:*David Attenborough Voice*
Here we have an adult male Lesser Raptor of Paradise in full courtship display. After selecting a highly visible perch he will jump up and down while flashing his iridescent throat feathers. In between bouts of frenzied dancing, he will stop and sound his mating call keeeee-keeeee-kruk. The females, for the most part, are not very interested in this particular specimen.
Middle:
A transhuman thingy. I draw these when I'm bored.
Right:
Itzpapalotl! This is a terrible cell phone picture of my notebook, bleh. Anyways, that thing above her head is a rather advanced rune. This rune being a concentrated "knot" of superforce (the base force that all other forces are expressions of, think about how electric fields and magnetism are really different parts of electromagnetism). Instead of doing weird sigils for Itzy, I decided to base her style of runes on standing waveforms, this one stolen from a drum. Probably should be different for 3D waveforms... but oh well.
Sheesh, between going to Europe, losing my first car in an accident, and having to go out and buy another car I haven't had time for anything else. This is basically it for the moment, but hopefully things will get better soon.
Anyways... have some sketches!

Thankfully I'm fine, I was able to walk out of the car. The car however was deemed totaled.
The good news is that I bought my first new car ever, and I really like it!

I'm afraid that idea is pretty much stolen right out of unified field theory, [link] , which has some pretty awesome ideas. For one thing, all forces should really look exactly the same at stupendously high energy levels! So Itzy apparently can wield energy levels near what happened right after the big bang! I may change that since it seems to powerful but I really like the superforce concept!
So far (crossing my fingers) things are going pretty well, I just bought a new car and it is awesome! I love this thing.

Very nice. The shading of the creature on the far right is brilliant and I love its anatomy very much. All those legs are gorgeous. The humanlike beastie in the middle is also really neat, wonderful job on the lighting there. I really like the glow of the Lesser Raptor if Paradise and his description was highly amusing. I also really like how you did the grass in that picture. Lovely job all around and I really hope things turn round for the better for you.

OMG, this may be one of my favorite depictions of Itzy yet! Is that weird??
It's hard for me to even pin down why, though I think the forced perspective providing a sense of her overall body form from beginning to end (or front to back, at least) is a big part of it...Plus you know I luff the gritty pencil stuff!
Fascinating, I didn't even realize she produced or manifested "sigils"...Does she bear any relation to Obsidian ([link] ), or is that just a favored motif...?
"Panel 1" kinda floored me, since I was considering derived Microraptorians as an alternate origin for ([link] )!

I'm always happy when people love Itzy, she's just so fun to draw
At the moment I'm having her manifesting sigils to do jobs that a mile long dragon can't do (little things), I may change that later on. Obsidian will definitely keep her runes. They're actually from completely different universes, though the original concept behind the sigils is the same. I'm not really sure if that makes any sense though! Maybe I'll outline my two primary universes at some point (the big difference between the two is how much I play with the laws of physics).
The thalassovipteryx is awesome! Personally it reminded me of gliding frogs, alternative flight methods are always fun! [link]

I am in love with Itzy and her wave runes. I've never considered her in a state of stillness, I always picture crazy rushing and scrabbling and alteration, and even standing she has a whole lot of motion to her <3

Itzy actually tends to lay down quietly most of the time, she's very contemplative, but it's much for fun to draw her moving so that's what I do
