History: Crystal was born on the planet Opal. Her mother died when she was barely a month old, leaving her father to care for her. When she was almost a year old, Lord Ninevah and the Kumorian invaded, seizing her planet and putting its people under their reign. Her father led a successful rebellion against him, but in retaliation, Lord Ninevah sent Opal into a timed destruction. Saber put little Crystal in his own space pod and sent her away, minutes before the planet exploded. She floated for 8 years in stasis, and then, as luck would have it, the pod chose its destination: the front yard of Turbo Prower's home. Turbo discovered her and took care of her, protecting her from the triple threat of Dr. Eggman, G.U.N., and Lord Ninevah. Today, she lives happily with her adoptive mother, Cherry, proprietor of a bakery in Station Square, and is now even happier since she knows her father is indeed alive...

Other: According to an Opal prophecy, chubby Amberite females like her are destined to be blessed mothers in the future.

- Opal was a planet brimming with gemstones, so common that a fragment of diamond would amount to as much as U.S. dollar in their currency.

- By concentrating especially hard, Amberites can sense emotions in people as well as nature.
