Description
It was a Friday after school, and Sophie was in the bedroom, laying down on the floor, napping. She had felt sleepy once she and her brother got home, so she was using the time to rest. Ever since Joey had lied to Zack about their sleeping issues, the family had bought a music box, and night light. While it did help the kids go to sleep faster, it wasn't doing that much since the kids still flew to DreMarrZaz every night. Sophie didn't know how much longer they were going to keep this up, especially since many of their friends and family took notice on their exhaustion. She hated keeping secrets, but she knew that she couldn't just spill the beans again.

Joey ran down the hall, and entered the bedroom, a little nervous. He saw Sophie on the ground, and sighed of relief. He looked back down the hall, to make sure no one was coming, and closed the door. He walked over to Sophie, gently shaking her. "Psst! Soph! Wake up! I just thought of something!", he said quietly. Sophie groaned, opening her eyes. "Ugh..what is it, Joey?", she asked, letting out a yawn. "I'm really tired!" Joey looked around, and crouched down a bit. "Listen, I thought of something that may solve our sleeping problem a little bit.", he said. Sophie opened her eyes a bit more, getting up a bit. "Huh? You did?", she asked. "Yeah! And I think it will work!", he said. "I hope it's gonna work! Everyone's worried about us, our parents, our teachers, Zack..", she said, frowning. "Yeah, yeah, I know that. Now listen!", he said, and Sophie sat up.

"While I was watching TV, I suddenly got this idea...maybe we can convince you're bed to fly us to DreMarrZaz only during a couple of days a week? That way, we might be able to sleep more, since we'll only be at the planet less!", he said. Sophie gasped. She had to admit that was pretty smart of her brother, but there was just two thing puzzling her. "That sounds like a great idea! Although, we'd have to explain to our friends about the delay when we get there, right?", she asked. Joey nodded. "Yeah, I'm sure they'll be worried, but it's okay.", he said, shrugging. "And another thing, are we going to do this right now? Can the bed even be active during the day?", she asked, since the bed always came to life at night. The two looked over at the bed, silence filling the air. "I'm..I'm not sure. But it's worth a shot. It's better to get this over with anyway...", Joey said, and started walking towards Sophie's bed. He didn't know what to do at first. He reached out and slightly tapped the bed. He didn't know if this was working or not.

"Uhh...hello? Mr. Bed?", he asked, feeling a little awkward about this. After a few more taps, a face suddenly appeared on the bed. It looked a little shocked. "He-whoa, wait..is it day?!", it asked, but Joey quickly shushed it, and looked back at the door. The bed lowered it's voice and whispered. "Sorry, did you need something?", it asked a little nervously. Joey nodded. "Uh, listen, we love you taking us to DreMarrZaz, but it's really messing up me and Soph's sleep schedule. You know that already, but our family is starting to notice. Look, if it's not too much to ask, could you just take us to DreMarrZaz only like once or twice a week from now on, instead of every night?", he asked. "I think it would help me and my sister out a lot better. Just saying.." The bed looked at him with a bit of shock, but then it changed to a more understanding look.

"Jeez, why didn't you tell me that sooner? If that's what you want, I'll be happy to do that! Sorry about messing up you're sleep real bad...", the bed said, a little guilty. "Hey, it's fine, I'm just glad you're okay with this..", Joey said, smiling. The bed smiled back. "So uh, what day would you want to go to DreMarrZaz?", it asked. Joey thought for a bit. Since it was Friday, they had the weekend, but Joey felt like they should catch up on sleep for awhile. "We'll gooo....on Wednesday. Is that alright with you, Soph?", he asked, turning to look at his sister, who was still sitting down, and watching. She nodded happily. Joey smiled and turned back. "We'll go next Wednesday!", he said. The bed grinned and nodded. "Alright then! Is that all?", it asked. "Yeah, you can go back to sleep, or whatever you were doing.", Joey said. The bed winked at him, and it's face disappeared.

Grinning, Joey walked back towards his sister. "I can't believe that worked!", he said happily. Sophie was smiling as well. She was still a little worried if they wouldn't be as exhausted as they are now, but she had hope. "Hopefully then, our sleep schedule will go back to normal a bit.", she said. The door suddenly opened, causing the two to jump a little bit. It was just their father, checking up on them. "What are you guys doing?", he asked. The kids looked at each other, and then back at their dad. "Um, nothing, we're just talking.", Joey said quickly. Their father nodded. "Well, I just came to let you guys know that dinner's almost ready. We're having hot dogs!", he said. Joey grinned, those were his favorite food. "I'll call you two over when it's done, okay?", Mr. Fredricks asked. "Okay Daddy..", Sophie said. Mr. Fredricks closed the door, and Joey and Sophie looked at each other smiling. Already they were starting to feel more relaxed now that their amount of space visits would be shortened.
