King Candy probably only exists as part of Vanellope's backstory (similar to Dr. Scott in Calhoun's backstory), so King Candy still exists, but Turbo is gone.

Turbo actually looks better with human skin color! (not that Turbo isnt human. Idk what race he should be! Between black and white xD)

Some videogames characters in their earlier version have weird colors. If you take Dig-Dug for example, the first version have a blue face. In the modern version, Namco gave him a normal skin color. Only sequels of Wreck-it Ralph or the opinion of the character designer who created Turbo can clearly answer about this interesting question...

This seems much clear on how Turbo took on the appearance of King Candy. It was him who was never meant to exist, not Vanellope.

No...it's a very tragedic story...! So, it's normal to feel sorry because you can see in that story how hate or jealousy Β can cause pain and even destruction. In the same time, you have that "survival instinct" reason in the Turbo's point of view...but I don't think is a GOOD reason to delete Vanellope's code...
