It's been a while since I last posted, but here's something for a change.

This object needs no introduction - the gorgeous rings make Saturn undoubtedly one of the most stunning planets to view in the Solar System.

While I'm a specialist in deep sky astrophotography, I have attempted to dabble in planetary imaging, courtesy of a friend's telescope. In contrast to deep sky imaging, where objects are large but faint, planets are bright but small objects. As such, the technical challenge is the opposite, where high magnification and short exposures is key.
