Description
The Orion Nebula, composited from two datasets from two different setups. The colour data was acquired from last december, while the additional single wavelength data was captured from just a couple of weeks back. Here are the details of the equipment I used and the exposures of the data.Hydrogen Alpha (single wavelength monochrome) data:
Date: 11 November 2015
Location: Singapore
Scope: Takahashi FS60CB with f/6.2 flattener
Camera: SBIG ST-8300M cooled to 0 deg celsius
Mount: iOptron ZEQ-25GT (guided)
Guiding: ZWO 60mm f4.6 guidescope, Meade DSI-C
Exposure: 54x300 seconds through Baader 7nm H-alpha filter (Total int: 4.5h)
RGB (colour) data:
Date: 21 December 2014
Location: Mersing, Peninsula Malaysia
Telescope/Lens: TPO 8" f/4 Newtonian Astrograph (Equivalent to GSO 8" f/4) with Baader MPCC
Mount: Software Bisque Paramount MX
Guiding: ZWO 60mm f4.6 guidescope, SBIG ST-i
Camera: Canon EOS 400D (Modified: Baader UV/IR cut)
Exposure: 10x300sec @ ISO1600. Darks and Flats applied.
Calibrated, Stacked and Processed with PixInsight and Adobe Photoshop CS6
