Description Here's my shot of the Total Lunar Eclipse on 27/28 July. I didn't exactly use an optimal setup, using a short-ish focal length and no tracking. But here it is anyway, a stack of 4 images at 450mm of focal length and heavy cropping. 

Shot with a Takahashi FSQ-85ED refractor and Nikon D600.

Thanks! Missed it here in the US. Although they used to say that a lunar eclipse was a sign that the king was about to be deposed. If only!

Lunar eclipses are fairly common, so I guess that's why we hardly have any kings left!
