--BEFORE BIRTH--
Ambermouse and Ebonyclaw didn't mean for anything to happen of their fun. But shortly after Ebonyclaw went missing, Ambermouse found herself expecting with kittens, and the thought of family finding out that she'd conceived kits without having a mate was distasteful and terrifying. So she hid the truth, not even informing her medicine cat. When it came time for her kittens to be born, Ambermouse slunk off to birth the kittens herself. Without a medicine cat to help, however, the queen died of blood loss soon after her kittens were born.
--KITHOOD--
It was Lionkit, first-borne, who lead the litter's aunt to the side of their mother with their earsplitting wails. Lavenderfall was heartbroken to find her sister's lifeless body, but upon seeing the life she'd brought to the world so soon before, she had an even stronger urge to keep them safe. She brought the kittens back to RushingClan, and claimed them as her own.
Lionkit was named for their howls that brought them help. They were born first, and followed shortly by Twigkit, Sootkit, Crowkit and Mousekit. The kittens grew up under the impression that Lavenderfall was their mother throughout kithood.
Lionkit proved themself to be very boisterous and loud, but also a caring soul. They very obviously loved their mother and siblings, and showed that they had affection towards cats outside their family. One such feline was Moonstar's kitten, Lilykit, who Lionkit latched on to very quickly after their first conversation. Throughout their kithood, Lionkit focused simply on making friends, and when the time came that they were nearing becoming an apprentice, the choice to be a caretaker seemed much more appealing considering their love of younger kittens.--APPRENTICESHIP--Lionpaw, along with her new name, began using she/her pronouns very shortly after she was made an apprentice. It had never exactly been a huge issue, but she'd become fairly aware of her discomfort with her gender assigned at birth. She'd picked up on the cats within her clan, including tales of Lilykit's parents, and had decided she was very much like them.
She's been training as a caretaker apprentice under Brookfall.

[ Roleplay Sample ]
From a roleplay between Palesight and @/theredjennies' Badgerfur;
Palesight heard the scuffle of paws and watched as the shadow of Badgerfur moved closer. His fur color was much easier to see as he got closer, but she still wasn't even close to being able to make out the features of the Riverclan tom. He was definitely limping now, and she smiled sympathetically as he sat down before her. She felt his tail brush against her, and she used her paw to give it a gentle pat- not wanting to use her own tail...her own was so furry, she'd end up getting his thorns stuck in her own fur!
She allowed him to talk as she began carefully nosing along his paw pad. When she would find a thorn, she'd nuzzle it to figure out just how big it was, and if it was just in his fur or in skin, and then quickly tug it out and set it aside before giving any wounds a cleaning lick. It was surprising what quick work she could make of such a thing...but she'd been doing it since she'd first moved into the nursery and kit-sat for the first time.
Palesight lifted her head from the paw she'd been working on when the tom finished talking, and she paused. "Well," She started, thoughtfully. "I've never really been on the lookout for a mate since...Ashtail." Her eyes which had been directed at the shape of Badgerfur fell to the ground. "I mean, I've played with toms plenty, bit nothing ever was serious. I never got over him, or my kits." She paused to look back up. "But, I suppose I do understand. Whenever a new litter is born, it makes me think of my kits. It makes me wonder if I'll ever have another litter. Another family." The she-cat let out a snort. "But like you, I'm not close to many cats once they leave the nursery...I mean, there's Batshade. But he's more a son to me than anything else." She meowed, then grimaced. "I can't find your face, but if I could, I'd be giving you one of those sad looks good friends always do, and tell you I'm sorry you feel that way. You deserve better." She meowed, and gave that exact expression...to his shoulder.

The age up will be delayed to next month. Next month, if the age ups are not done, the normal age up delay routine will continue as normal, as in if by three months from the requested delay month the age ups are not done, the strike will be given.

Hi! Vincemods here, and we would like you make you aware that Lionpaw will be made a full caretaker in September (at 12 moons.) Before that can officially happen, you have age-up(s) that must be completed!
- Get a mentor! Draw your newly-made apprentice either training or at their ceremony.
- Time to Train! Draw your apprentice training: either by hunting, patrolling, caring for kits, or any other apprentice duties your cat may preform.
- Assessment time! These are usually a test of the apprentice's skills: usually by leading a patrol with their mentor, meeting a hunting quota, or spending a day caring for a kit on their own, or in the case of a medicine cat apprentice, treating cats on their own for a day.
- Shh! Vigil! Now that your cat has received their full name, it's tradition that they spend the night silently guarding the camp.
