Here are the final character designs I did for the now cancelled POPGOES Reprinted. I only ever got to finish the concepts for Popgoes, Sara, and Stone, so I polished them up a bit to be presented in POPGOES Memories, and thought I'd post them here as well to have at least some activity after my hiatus haha. While It is amazing seeing your work, there was something I have to say after Popgoes repainted's cancellation.Β
That "game' wasn't a game but something that Kane regretted and ended up wasting the lives of everyone and leave it to decay.Β

I can understand why you'd think that, but I don't think it's really fair to say that it "wasted the lives of everyone". Now, I obviously can't speak for everyone on the team, and I know that a lot went wrong with this endeavour that caused it to to end how it did, but I do know that I'll never see the time I spent on this project as wasted. Even though these designs never made it past a conceptual stage, I still learnt a lot in the process. I got a chance to practise my skills in recreating accurate references, design iterations, incorporating feedback from others, and a whole lot more. I got to work and talk with a whole group of awesome creative people. The fact that there isn't a finished, playable game at the end of this doesn't change all the work that was done, and the creativity and ideas that went into it.Β
This "game" was always more than a game. It is an idea, and a story. Just because it doesn't exist as the intended product doesn't mean it doesn't matter, or that it was a waste, or something to regret. Everything created for this is still being shared, and talked about. People are making fan art, asking questions, and theorising about the lore. I wouldn't say that it's decaying at all.Β
So please, don't make assumptions and comments based on things you've seen others said. You are of course free to have your own opinion, but I would appreciate it if you could try to understand everything that went into this project, rather than drawing your conclusion purely from the fact that it was cancelled as a game. I rather to the main fnaf canon than the verison that POPGOES made. I hope you've enjoyed it as much as everyone that use to work it.Β
