Quick Question for everybody. Would any of you be interested in YCH animation commissions? (YCH is "Your Character Here", there's always someone unfamiliar with that acronym in my comments) Starting with a simple animated base and customizing it to look like people's OC's. I've been animating as a hobby for a few years now, and I'd love to find a way to do it for work.

This GIF is a concept for a basic one. I diddn't want to spent too much time on it before gauging interest, so this is just a rough version with no inbetweens. In fact I'm kinda worried this example's too plane for people to be interested in it. If it looks like people want this or something like it, I'd probably slowly build up different animation bases to use, all with different actions, and probably with other things besides ponies. I might even be able to do YCH animation memes or short AMV's for Youtube.

For this one specifically, if I end up finishing it, I would make two clean lined versions, one with a feminine head, (pictured above) and one with a more masculine head doing the same action. There would be a base for a set of wings at the bottom of the frame, so that the character could be any tribe or an alicorn.

I would have to charge a fair bit for this, animation is hard and time consuming. I haven't decided on a price yet, but I would try to keep it as low as I can so more people could afford it. The price would vary a bit depending on the OC though. Some more complicated oc's (multi colored, curly, or complex manes, complicated markings, ect.) Would ether have to be simplified to fit a more animation friendly style or I would charge more for them.

Again, if there's interest in something like this I could make additional, more interesting/complicated bases. Would you go for this? And if not, is there a particular action or animation loop you would be interested in seeing? A pegasi flying, a full body shot, something cute, something angry looking? Even if you arn't interested in this or can't afford this sort of stuff, let me know what you think! I'd love to hear suggestions!
