A boy in my art class named Tony Bui called me a free spirit one day when he was either drunk and/or half asleep. He described to me sleepily exactly what he believed a free spirit to be, and to tell you the truth, it really stuck with me. I won't insult his words by trying to repeat them the best way I can, but in my mind, a free spirit is a determined girl (or guy) who enjoys breaking through normalities and conventionalism. In the photo (taken and modeled by ~ivorylily ), she just looked like a free spirit, or like one should look.No, I didn't change the photo much at all, it was beautiful as is, but I really hope you enjoy this Ivory, and I really hope the rest of you enjoy it also.

Awesome, I draw a lot of vector, usually i skip as much detail as this. I'm currently drawing an image of my girlfriend and the hair on this piece has really inspired me to keep going(its got about 12 hours work in so far, thats not including 5hours on the hair so far) Keep up the nice vector!

Wow. It's always a seriously great idea to spend as much time as you can on any given piece, not just vectors but anything in general. If there's any one detail it's that...just pay attention to the details, even the tiniest things. Because all put together all the small things just add up to one amazing piece. I would love to see the end result of your vector if you don't mind dropping me a note or something

*speachless* these vector skills are simply amazing. I do raster photomanipulation, and if I could incorporate these kind of skills my work would blow minds. How the heck do you get so much detail? All your work photo-based?

im not bad.. it was funny though. after you commented on my site, i went to look at your gallery and realized that i had already been there and had seen that piece i commented on and liked it a lot.. and i was like "oh thats probably how she found my little helmet picture" and i felt dumb ^_^

Simply beautiful, I love the colours and the detail is incredible.

The depth in this is incredible, its like a watercolour that i can see layers and layers through. The effect is very beautiful, as well as making me to look deeply into the spirit of this person. I think you were able to add a whole new dimension to the photo, you added quite a lot indeed. Excellent use of colours, in particular how you used the cools like violet and lighter blues in many places besides just the hair, gives it a nice feel. And that eye? Fucking amazing.
