A boy in my art class named Tony Bui called me a free spirit one day when he was either drunk and/or half asleep. He described to me sleepily exactly what he believed a free spirit to be, and to tell you the truth, it really stuck with me. I won't insult his words by trying to repeat them the best way I can, but in my mind, a free spirit is a determined girl (or guy) who enjoys breaking through normalities and conventionalism. In the photo (taken and modeled by ~ivorylily ), she just looked like a free spirit, or like one should look.No, I didn't change the photo much at all, it was beautiful as is, but I really hope you enjoy this Ivory, and I really hope the rest of you enjoy it also.

Haha, thats for sure! I looked through your vector guide and hair guide and pretty soon DeviantArt is going to have another vector artist... I have never done any before now, just traditional mediums, and a bit of photoshop dabbling now and then. How do you keep all the layers organized. I know you can create sets, but with all those strands of hair, what do you do with them?

well i try to keep all the same coloured strands on one layer, its the add to shape layer button. i start with the lightest strands all on top on one layer then work my way down the colour scale with strands and strands and more strands, then once it looks pretty finished i block in all the colour behind it so there's no background showin through

You're so cool, lol. So since my last comment, I have been working on a piece of my own, similar to one of yours (using the color scheme and style, with my own picture). Its my first time using the pen tool and my first vector art. Lemontea is helping me out a little here and there too (I go to school with him), but I would love to hear from you what you think! I'll send you a message when I am finished (which I plan to this coming weekend).

I knew a guy name David Bui who thought himself quite the ladies man... The funny thing was, he own a GTR sportscar and decided to get a vanity license plate. The one he chose was "BUIGTR". He thought this was quite clever until some hot girl in our office says, "Hey, does your license plate say 'Boy-getter?' " Needless to say he got rid of the license plate...
