Ir-Realta' is an underground-ish bi-lingual (maltese and english) newspaper which was started by some guys i know.. it's distributed for free in the maltese university (aka shithole) campus and some high schools/6th forms.
i was asked to design all the paper for them and i wholeheartedly agreed. initiatives like these get me drooling.

this is the front page of the second issue of the paper. the first issue was not designed by me, looked outright crap and was issued last year.
anywayz, i had the idea of dedicating the front solely for a socially concious quote and artwork which relates to the quote. in this case, the 'editor' (lol) chose this quote by john lennon. the maltese university is full of people who are so shallow and trivial that the concept of this cover will probably pass them by. but i tried.
