Description
The Clockwork Cuprum CustomCommissioned Courtesy of Cor Calgoth
The only mechanically powered death ray on the market today, this pistol's internal gearing drives a neutronium lattice counter-clockwise past a shard of krestonite. As any school aged child knows, the resultant quantum friction generates a chain reaction that delivers a directed quark-pulse. Six settings allow the user to choose the quarks projected; "up" to kill humanoids, "strange" for poultry and fish, and so forth in that fashion.
Professor Tursiart's Ray Pistols & Accoutrements
Are unique prop weapons and gadgets made from repurposed and found objects, with body casts of genuine simulated metals*. Sporting the latest in fictitious technology from tomorrow's yesteryear and the future that never was; these pistols are fashioned in an amalgamative style of steampunk, sci-fi, and retro-future aesthetics. Each piece is a one-of-a-kind work of art, handcrafted by Professor R. Tursiart herself.
*aka, plastic

I was originally going to wait until after the show to begin posting all the stuff I've been working on since the new year, but then I figure I might as well drum up some interest. For those of you in the Southern California area, you should check out my gallery showing Feb 13th. More info here: [link]
There will be lots of paintings, parchment illustrations, ray pistols... and even delightful homebrewed beverages from Professor Tursiart's Uncanny Elixirs & Prodigious Potions
~ End Transmission ~
Edit: This Pistol sold at the show, so you won't be finding it on etsy. Please stay tuned for future pistols. Thanks for all the interest!

Is this a waterpistol just repainted? Or is it an actual hand sculpted original? I was going to buy one , I just wanted to know what I was actually getting for my money.

Very welcome, I do love great prop design and construction. I used to do it myself (purely hobbyist level)

The green rusty texture in the nooks and crannies is a nice touch.

Thanks Hannah!
Yeah, I think my metallic props always look better when I take the extra time to add a patina to the finish.
