My favorite creature from Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings. Made of clay and painted with acrylics. Making and attaching all those scales was a... well, you know. Real leather loincloth with metal accessories and a volcanic stone base. The stance is taken from the scene in Moria when Frodo has been cornered and the Cave Troll is about to finish him off. Aragorn jumps down to save him with a big spear and the Cave Troll snarls at him. Back off! The colors are a little more green than in the movie, but I like 'em anyway.
