From one of my stories. Doli the Dolichorhynchops never felt like he had a place in the centuries-long race war between the plesiosaurs and the mosasaurs. Both sides touted their own identifying physical characteristics, but Doli was somewhere in between. He visits the holiest site of the plesiosaurs, the Cave of Prophecy. As he breaks through the phosphorescent algae floating on the surface inside the dark cave, he sees the shining Sigil for the first time. While the overarching plesiosaur depiction had been used as justification by the plesiosaurs for their domination over the mosasaurs, Doli realizes there is another possible interpretation. The plesiosaurs were meant to teach and guide the mosasaurs, to their mutal benefit. With this realization Doli returns to the two warring clans and negotiates an treaty of permananent peace of and alliance.
