I find the characters who were mentioned but didn't actually appear to be fascinating.Β My favorite is Saphira I (Brom's dragon) but I've grown rather attached to JarnunvΓΆsk lately too.

I always imagined her being a dark amethyst color.Β That's what color she is in the stories I write.Β Saphira I is more of an aquamarine/tropical blue color.

Looking at art on the internet, those are the most recurrent colours for the both of them
(Although I did once come accross a theory saying Jarnunvosk may be white, and that's why Galbatorix took Vrael's sword as his own, in her honor... )

I always thought Galbatorix took the sword as more of a trophy.Β Anyway, I've grown rather attached to Jarnunvosk and I'd like to have her star in her own story once I get done with my current projects.Β She's already playing a major role in one story I'm working on.

I've got a two chapter teaser for the story I have planned.Β
Where the Wind Takes Me: Part 1Her weary wings glided on the wind as she soared over the sparkling tropical waters of the Prismarian Sea, far to the west of Alagaesia. The sun shimmered on her amethyst scales. In the distance, her tired eyes could make out an island rising out of the sea.
At last⦠she thought to herself, weary after the two whole days and nights of flying from Alagaesia that had brought her to this remote corner of the world.
The island nation of Kokamona, a former colony of Danthuania, was a place she had heard many things about. Among other things, it was said to be the most beautiful place in the world. It was said to be a place where the weather was always warm and sunny and where the people were always happy. A place where one could find a good life.
The amethyst dragon took a deep breath, inhaling the salty sea air and feeling the sun warm her scales. Β It truly felt good to be alive. The grief, strife and troubles of her past were all behind her now and a better future lay ah
