The TV series was actually pretty good. It was like Psych but with cartoon angel dogs instead of fake psychic detectives.

I mostly watch cartoons where the cast predominantly consists of talking animals. Animaniacs, Tiny Toons, Road Rovers, Chip And Dale Rescue Rangers, Buddy Thunderstruck, Swat Kats, etc. The only Live Action series I watch are Psych, Criminal Minds, Carnivale, World's Dumbest, Monty Python and Syfy's Face Off series. There's a few anime I watch too, mostly off-the-wall comedy like Excel Saga and Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo. Also, I'm a big fan of both Pokemon and Digimon.

Charlie and Annabelle are my favorite characters. XD I especially like how there's an undertone that Charlie was, in the first film, seducing her... I doubt she's the ONLY top dog in doggie heaven... Methinks Charlie is her favorite troublemaker... but I could be wrong.

I agree with you on a lot of stuff, like how the original story pushed so many boundaries and had so much charm to it, and how Charlie and Anne Marie's relationship was one of the sweetest in movie history, and not liking Belladonna >>

No kidding. Like you said, she's Annabelle, who accidently flung herself in a pot of purple fur dye, and dressed herself as a vampire XD
And CharliexItchy just makes sense to me, I don't know why. But really, if you watch the film closely, there's something there, at least with Itchy anyway. X3
The way I like to think of it, to all those people who don't see it, is simple. Watch the film over, but this time (and I know this sounds weird) pretend Itchy was female instead of male. Watch their interactions, do they make a cute pairing now?

It does to me too. But yeah, mostly with Itchy as a onesided thing. But I also get this vibe of denial from Charlie.
The moment the couple made the most sense to me was the moment Itchy went to find Charlie at the Old Church.
And despite the series being out of character it points more to CharlieXItchy than any other pairing when you look at it. <.<;

Other stuff that point in that direction are there too. Like, in the bar, near the visiting Flo scene, Anne Marie kisses Charlie's nose, and Itchy makes this kind of >~> face.
