Drew this in Florida after a boat ride in Silver Springs (everglades-like place)Did you know that red-ear sliders have to sunbathe so deadly moss on their shells will become dried up and will slide off when they dive back in the water else they won't be able to breathe through their shells?

It's moss. It's a fungi that can grow on Turtle's shells and make them sick if they do not sunbathe.

Yeah, I love those boats. We saw all kinds of Alligators and turtles there but the monkeys creeped me out when they tried to jump us. They're odd lil' sapiens out there.
