Bea gasped as she laid on the concrete of the building, her vision was flickering. Cradling her arm the mutant forced herself to her stomach, looking on as Venus finally collapsed. "Venus," Bea tried pushing herself up to no avail, only wincing as she moved her arm before falling against the rooftop once again.

"Get away from her!" Mona voiced from beside Bea, the salamander glaring daggers as Shredder stood over Venus with cold eyes; she held in a cry of pain, hand instinctively coming to her side and cringing aa the reminder of her previous battle soaked her shirt in crimson. "V! You have to get up!" Mona pleaded, trying to move again. Bea sniffled, tears spilling free as the adrenaline rush wore off and the inevitable pain began to settle in.

Karai ignored the two girls, eyes only downcast as she watched Venus struggle. A scoff left Karai as she sent a swift kick to the turtle's side. Venus coughed, reaching for her discarded fans and groaning as Karai lazily kicked them across the roof. "You know, I'm a little impressed," Karai crouched down, grabbing Venus's face and forcing the teen to look up at her. "You fight well, you'd make a good soldier. Too bad you're on the wrong side."

"MONA! BEA!"

Karai looked back, eyes narrowing as two more mutants descended towards the building. In one quick movement, Karai ripped Venus's mask off and stood up; another quick rough kick to Venus's side before she pressed her armored boot into the younger girl's shell. "Michelangelo, Donatello." Karai greeted nonchalantly, pressing into Venus's back further as the young turtle whimpered. "It's impolite to keep a girl waiting."

"Karai, please--" Donnie pleaded, tears in his eyes as he watched Venus struggle helplessly.

"I prefer Shredder," Karai watched as Mikey helped Bea sit, Donnie crouching down to help Mona but it was so obvious who he was more worried for. Karai inhaled deeply, cracking her neck and rolling her shoulders before sighing. "Now, you know where this conversation is going to go, so save me the hassle, will you?"

Mikey frowned. "His death was an accident--"

"YOUR SENSEI MURDERED HIM!" Karai pressed more, Venus now groaning as the pressure began to build. "I will avenge Oroku Saki and bring his name to justice!"

"Sis--"

"Do not refer to me as your sibling, that rodent may be my blood but he did not raise me." Karai's glare hardened, before she finally pressed harder, a satisfying crack sounding prior to Venus's gasp of surprise as well as pain. Donnie stopped breathing for a second, the turtle now failing to respond as Leo and Raph desperately called him over the comlink. Mikey froze, Bea now letting her tears flow freely as she stared up at the woman calling herself The Shredder. Mona's breath felt ragged as the blood now soaked her leggings, but she refused to give up and tried to get up once again, a frustrated cry leaving as she watched Venus finally give out.

Karai smirked beneath her armor, eyebrows furrowing. "Now that I've got your attention," Karai flicked off some of the blood on her blades, rolling her shoulders once more with a sigh of content. "You will surrender your sensei and only then will the baby turtle live."

Yep...little scene from my universe This is about where Donnie realized he might actually like Venus and when Bea had to actually put her training into gear. Basically Hamato Yoshi is still Splinter and the battle between him and Oroku Saki happened before Bea was mutated. Karai is Hamato Miwa and was on good terms with the Turtles and her birth father until Shredder met his demise. So, in grief and anger Karai took up the Shredder mantel and now runs the Foot Clan, seeking revenge on Hamato Yoshi despite Shinigami begging her to rethink her choices.

Shortly after this encounter, Shinigami will come in and save Venus; dueling Karai much to her heartbreak so the mutants could escape with their wounded as Leo and Raph finally caught up with them. (Shinigami and Karai were somewhat (?) of a couple, but after Shinigami's betrayal, Karai imprisoned her)
