From the "Chipmunks Go Hollywood" album where Alvin and Charlene sing "You're the One that I Want" from "Grease".This was a scene from a fan fic idea I had, but I feel that the idea has been overdone.
Basically, Brittany showed up late (due to cheer practice) to practice her song with the gang so in the mean time, Charlene (the new girl) took her spot. This is where the Chipmunks and Chipettes all learn that she's a great singer. Brittany walks in in the middle of their song to see Alvin singing and dancing happily next to Charlene.

Charlene is a good 3-4 years older than the chipettes.
Brittany hasn't even a chance to spar off against her.

In my Uncle Harry series.. Charlene appears as Alvin's first cousin.
He can only love her like a sister.
Yet trouble rears it's head.. When Brittany mistakenly thinks.... Alvin has another girlfriend.

I think this picture is really good. I'm not sure the idea has actually ever been done, because I've read a lot of AatC stories, but you never know. But I'd love to see the fanfic if you'd still like to post it.
The idea is really interesting. I want them to do a third AatC movie and bring Charlene into the mix, just to have some rivalry between her and the Chipettes. The way you drew Charlene here looks better than the way she was in "Crocodile Rock" with Alvin.
Speaking of the way you drew things in this picture...you are really good at drawing chipmunks. The CGI Chipmunks and Chipettes have a pretty unique look. I like how you drew Brittany closer up so she's kind of darker than the rest. Good idea.
I have heard "You're the One that I Want" before, and I think I heard more voices, not just Alvin and Charlene, so shouldn't maybe Simon and Theodore have microphones, too? And maybe even Jeanette and Eleanor, since they were all practicing? But it's still amazing.
I hope you draw another picture of Alvin/Charlene!

From the responses that I've gotten on this, I've actually been considering posting a story for this. However, it's having the time between homework, drawings and all my other unfinished writings that get in the way.
But I'm glad you think so.
Yea. That song is originally from the musical, "Grease" in case you didn't know. 
I didn't draw mics for the other chipmunks and chipettes, but I did have them singing back up. Now, that I think about it, I don't know why they don't have mics. This was just how I was picturing it in my mind when the idea came up for showing them practicing.

I was in our performance of Grease this year. It took us forever to get this song right. And then they changed it.

I'd have to agree, I've seen the Brittany-Alvin-Charlene quite a few times, even wrote my own. It's been done a good few times before, but it's always nice to see the different renditions of Charlene.
