Finally finished my drawing of Aishwarya Rai for a friend. Not sure about my feelings on this, and I couldn't manage to get a decent scan, but here it is. Any critique is happily accepted

very realistic. good job. if you want any critique, just make her lips a bit darker and same about her eyes, will make it look life like.

Hi there, I'm a mentor for the pencil club
The first thing that I notice when I look at this piece is the fantastic job you did with the hair. Dark hair can be difficult, but you did wonderfully at making it soft and flowing with nice highlights
The proportions of the face look spot on, as far as I can tell the only problem with the face is that most of the features don't stand out enough. Her eyes stand out because there's a lot of contrast, but the rest of her features are being lost against her skin. All you need is more contrast in places like her mouth and nostril. Also, with eyes, you might want to add more detail to the iris, as it looks flat to me--you've got the sharp contrast in the pupil and eyeliner but the iris is being lost in the white of the eye.
Great portrait though, only a couple little enhancements an it will be absolutely fantastic!

Thanks for the part about the proportions, I was worried they weren't right.
Thanks about the contrast, I don't have the drawing anymore, as I gave it to a friend, but if I ever get it back temporarily at any point, I will add the contrast, as I agree that there needs to be darker parts in the nostrils, mouth and iris.

I was soo excited to see this in my messages. I Love Aish, she such a beautiful actress and I really believe you captured that. Her smile and eyes, I just can't stop looking at them. And the hair, WOW, just wow, it looks so amazing and your shading and lighting and everything is just perfect. To me at least. I love how you were so soft with the tones on her face, it's so nice.
I am sorry about your scanner, I know how that can be, but I am sure in person the picture is even better, I hope it gets frame, so it never smudges.
Again this is just fantastic, and it made my day.
