Skinwalkers don’t sleep, don’t die of natural causes, eat any living thing, and they are things of your nightmares.

Originally a once terminally sick person, Skinwalkers are the embodiment of man’s desperate cling to life. Given the chance of immortality by Longhorn, the sick have to go through a series of tests to prove how much they want this prolonged life. The tests are designed to send the person over the edge of sanity and once deemed worthy, they must kill a coyote and take and wear the skull. Once victorious, they are injected with a serum that kills all aging cells, leaving there body in a dormant state, hence how they do not age. All gender defying feature disappear
Once injected with the serum, the eyes and nose begin to bleed profusely and the skin begins to die. The skin rots and as a skinwalker gets older, it becomes more easily torn through. The muscles and innards are tough however so they can live without the skin.

Most of time, most clothes are destroyed by their rough nature, however pants stay the longest from orders of Longhorn. The hair naturally starts to stick up and the color begins to fade to gray, another way to tell how ‘old’ the Skinwalker is.

Skinwalkers will eat people, however they try not to and only do so if food is scarce. They have excellent eyesight and smell, but very bad hearing. Their eyes glow in order to help them hunt at night.

They got their name from a group of teenagers out past curfew and came face to face with one. Only one sustained and injury from which they got too close and agitated it. The wound was treated and the teen was well off.

To kill a Skinwalker, aim for the head or heart. They cannot function without these.

•Colors of skin vary from different times of decay. But almost immediately after injection, the sick turns a unhealthy looking gray.
•Hair color stays much longer than skin color, usually a few months. But eventually it fades to gray as well.
•Skinwalkers don’t talk at all. The growl, snarl, hiss, and laugh. They only listen to Longhorn and “The Dog”.
•They are extremely bony and skinny. But they are more stronger than a human and have great endurance.
•They run on all fours but are also very good at using two legs.

And Longhorn hasn't been mentioned yet (there's a picture of him on my art Tumblr *hint hint*) and absolutely nothing of "The Dog". All in due time. uwu
