Well because of all the shipping wars i keep seeing, like for toph and katara, it makes me think they're being tossed and turned like the current. Way too many arguements on who should go with who. Though I find it funny, which is why i made this.

Because as human beings, we enjoy doing the very opposite of what others say. I.e., you say they should not be together, the first thought of the average person will probably be, 'How can I make a zutara fandom that will kick the kataang fandom's butt?'. (N.B. I do like Kataang, but Zutara has that forbidden love aspect to it, darkly enticing. That and let's be honest here, Zuko and Katara would totally complement each other's personalities and balance each other out. Plus, Zuko is way hottter than Aang.

You might not be, but there are people who do see the forbidden love thing as a major plus. Aang is an adorable kid with babyface, Zuko is a hot Β teenager with a dark past and a personality that's like a shellfish; remove the crusty outer shell to get to the softie on the inside. That in and of itself is cute. Aang is so adorable; fighting in a war and refusing to terminate the enemy-like hell that could happen in a real war.Β

But Aang and Katara r canon, so there's really no point in continuing the whole shipping, just like Naruto, there's no point in any more pointless shippings since everyone is married now

There is so much point in shipping! That and I don't really see why it's your business who I ship and who I don't ship. It's my opinion who's best together and you're not going to change that so leave my fellow zutarians and I alone please. Go back to your Kataaang Lovers-I'm sure they don't object to you dissing zutara.Β

I'm not dissing you guys, it's just that once a series is over, there's no point in shippings, i was a huge fan of Naruto, and i shipped NaruSaku, but when the series ended there wasn't any point in continuing shipping them since they both married different people!!!Β

Was the AVATAR shipping wars really that bad? Quite simply though, no shipping war can EVER top the Digimon shipping wars, mainly between T.K., Davis and Kari not to mention T.K. has been shipped with O.C.'s dozens of times and even Kari has been. There's also been the second place war between Mimato (Mimi and Yamato), Sorato (Sora and Yamato), Taichi and Sora and Taichi and Mimi.

I should also state that I came into the fanfiction writing shortly after the wars ended around 2006, I started watching Digimon again in 08 and writing started in 08', and amazingly enough, as a Takari fan (T.K. and Kari) I was able to forge a sort of peace treaty between the leader of the Dakari (Davis and Kari) shippers, DakariKingMykan. He and I are on great terms and while he and Lord Patamon (One of the biggest head Takari leaders) still have their differences between each other, there is finally peace.

It's been a dream of mine to try and put an end to the Total Drama Shipping, hating, and other such wars. At this point I don't think anyone is going to be able to make a lasting peace between all the character haters and the DxC vs DxG war.
