Thankyou very much,
The paper isn't something very special but the paper just has a glossy finish. I think its just a normal paper.

The peafowl as an angel...Β
... harked to to the belief ofΒ TawΓ»sΓͺ Melek, the "Peacock angel" who was a redeemed angel after his fall from Grace. It's not a common belief, this one. I am surprised to see it inferred here, really.
I don't profess to know too much more about the belief ofΒ TawΓ»sΓͺ Melek, but I would say that the idea has the potential to show up brilliantly in this piece. I have to say, it's very easy to be captivated by the peacock in flight in the centre of the picture. However, it also means that the background "slings and arrows of outrageous fortune" simply looked too much. Instead of the arrows and leaves, I think we do much better to take the image of the peacock as front and centre and really make it big and attention-grabbing. The background details can shrink in size and recede into the background. After all, the most regal part of the peacock in flight is its incredible plumage. You've done such a wonderful job here already, why clutter it with excessive background elements?Β
Once again, hope this helps.Β

Actually, What i tried to represent was its angelic like dance but not try to show that the peacock is an angel. So the whole concept was that the dance of the peacock is so beautiful that its angelic and the arrows are shown as spears so the concept there is that people of our world always target something beautiful and try to destroy it.
This whole concept then relates to women and how in so many places in the world they are targeted by those "arrows" or not treated right but they are so beautiful in nature and physically as well.
Of course i understand that if the peacock was just there by itself then all the attention would be focused at the peacock but i needed to send a message and the message could not be sent using the peacocks.

I apologise. I think we have a total miscommunication here. Β
The majestic peacock is, after all a, male symbol. Only the male bird has the extraordinary plumage and sports the distinctive feathers (like most male birds in real life.) So when it comes to "peacock angel", an obscure deity for the Yizidi people comes to mind. I forget that for a lot of people the peacock's beauty can be gender-neutral or specifically geared to women. Seen in this context, all the arrows and daggers make a lot of sense. And seen in this context, one can almost argue that there is a very important role for the threats and danger to be large and looming over the central figure.Β
I think the message in this piece is insightful and thoughtful when seen under this context. And I commend you on your take on the fate of women who are mistreated. I am sorry for the misunderstanding.

Thankyou very much for the comments and its completely alright. and yes although the peacock would be a male symbol, in this context its not.
But thankyou for your comments and they are very helpful to me.
