And in the process of not buying it I'll have missed out on tons of other stuff that I don't know about yet, but that's all thanks to you SPOILING IT FOR ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I guess I'll just have to become a millionare and hire an anime studio to produce yet another anime based on this with similar (or even identical in some cases) characters and give the producers one main instruction, DON'T TELL ME HOW IT WILL END.

Then I'll go and buy the DVD when it (the Metropolis anime I payed millions of dollars to get made that's similar but not identical to the 2001 Metropolis anime) is released it will be similar to this, but because it won't have an identical ending, I'll actually not know how it will end, and thus I will actually be able to watch it with interest and suspense, waiting to see how it does end.

That's as opposed to if I watched the (currently available) 2001 Metropolis anime, which now I know EXACTLY how it ends, and thus I will have NO SUSPENSE AT ALL in seeing how it ends, which will cause boredom throughout the ENTIRE movie because I know that I already know how it ends and that the intervening steps between the first scene and the last scene are thus COMPLETELY UNIMPORTANT, UNINTERESTING, and BORING.
YOUR IMAGE DESCRIPTION, had not been posted, I would STILL be able to watch the 2001 Metropolis anime with suspense and interest THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE MOVIE.

In the end though the simpler solution might be to go to a hypnotist. I hear they can put you into an alternate state of consciousness and do stuff from making you remember your forgotten past, to actually making you FORGET something you rather not remember (such as the spoiling info I just learned about this movie).

I apologize i didnt realize i was spoiling it, i totally forgot about that and posted in in a semi-hazed state. but at least you got the chance to vent a lot (you really gave it all in anger) Again I am terribly sorry though this wont take back anuything, even if i spoild that for you, I still think the movie is stunningly worth watching i knew the ending as well when i first heard about it, it was worth watching nonetheless. cheers.

Thanks for the spoiler WITHOUT A WARNING! I was going to buy this film just so I could see what happened to her. Now I have no reason to buy it because I already know!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now that You mention it, I am curious about the cause of death as well, I am not sure about the Anime's version but the original one in the movie by Fritz lang(1927) I think she got shot or something hmm, this needs googling 0_0

Thanks for saying its beautiful I'd love to re-draw this in a wacom!
