As you've no doubt been noticing, I've been trying my hand at several different style in this art set, planning to expand and grow in my work. And I have no plans of stopping, either. At the same time, I can't turn a blind eye to what brought me to the dance, either. So for this submission, I'm going back to my roots with a Danny Phantom pic.For those of you who have read my fanfics (as well as one of my earlier pics), you already know what this is all about. And if you haven't yet...THEN WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?! Head to my Fanfic Folder (or look for me on fanfiction.net, under my Author Name, Aaron12), and do it now! Now!! NOW!!!
Seriously though, this is the image I've had in my head for a long time now, regarding the pic I would draw to FINALLY introduce Danny's upgraded transformation (which I swore I would do, following the completion of my most recent fanfic, "Two For One"). Everything is pretty much how I wanted it to look, right down to the alley setting. I mean, INITIALLY, it looks like Danny's got his back against the wall...until THIS form comes into play. Then, basically, all bets are off. The two silhouettes and their expressions are also what I wanted to have in there as well. After all, those who have read my fics already know that these guys are well aware of what being on the receiving end of this form feels like. One of them's felt it once, the other twice. And in every single case, they pretty much got their clocks cleaned.
But anyway, for those of you who have been wondering when Danny Phantom and Kim Possible stuff is coming back, this is just to let you know that I haven't forgotten you. I think you'll find I haven't lost my touch, either, pursuing all these other styles. It's here, I think it's good, I'm glad I FINALLY got it out of my head and I hope you're all as happy with it as I am. Enjoy. ^_^

If it's a Danny Phantom story you want to read, I'm afraid this is not what you're looking for. The story I'm talking about is a Hyrule Warriors novelization I'm writing with a friend, plus it's only in Spanish.

Yeah, sometimes in a story, I don't care so much for the ending, rather I'm more interested on the development itself. Not so much "where" the story goes, but rather "how" it gets there.

No, he's not older. It's probably the broad shoulders that are throwing you off. However, the reason he looks broad shouldered is because the pic is looking down, from an upward angle and he's kind of hunched over, so...

is there any particular reason why you painted Dan's eyes green instead of red? (is that even Dan? i mean, I'm tired and it LOOKS like it could be Dan... nvm)

Yeah, this is not Danny becoming DARK Danny. When I originally came up with it, it was meant to imply a CONNECTION to Dark Danny. But the true nature of this transformation is actually something else entirely. That's also why he doesn't have freaky blue skin, either. Think of it ALMOST as Dark Danny done right. But despite that one similarity, there are a world of differences as well.

Well, the shadows are Dark Danny and Vlad. I threw those in there because, over the course of my fics, both of these guys have faced Danny when he changed into this form (Dark Danny once, Vlad twice). And each time, he basically cleaned their clocks.

I based the look off his silhouette in the Title Card for the episode, "The Ultimate Enemy". So to, with Vlad, whose silhouette I based off the title card for "Maternal Instinct".

Pretty much in my fanfic, I a myself am a character with Danny and we unlock "super ghost mode" and there are 5 of them and the fifth one being "super ghost god" but only full ghosts can access that power up very similiar to DBZ yes... Kinda what i'm going for, although i've been DP and i have this GIANT list of anime to watch. Gonna start One Piece with my gf here soon. (here we go) Sad Bleach is ending next week.. ;w;

Well, my idea is clearly something different, so we definitely won't be stepping on each others' toes or anything. Not that you expressed any concern about that. I'm just saying. Even though it looks that way on the surface, my goal wasn't to go with a Dragonball-type thing. It was more along the lines of taking the "Dark Danny" concept and coming up with a clearer cut explanation for it. My fanfic, "Two For One" pretty much explains it.
But yeah, I know what it's like to be backlogged on anime. I've still got Jessica Jones and Daredevil: Season 2 to get into on Netflix, still. But I will say, if you're just getting into One Piece now, you'd BETTER be ready to COMMIT. Because this is NOT a series that you can just drift in and out of. It's LITERALLY a WHOLE-FREAKIN'-WORLD being created.
As for Bleach, well, it sounds to me like Tite Kubo is just plain burned out at this point and is just trying to wind it down ASAP, in the wake of Ywach's death. But I guess we'll see what happens soon enough.

Pretty much my fanfic isn't even published dude xD mine is just i've shown some pics based around it and stuff here on DA a while back, pretty much mine isn't really about the fire hair it just based on glow color and how much power is being emitted because for me the firey hair is more of a sign of evil rather than, however super ghost god unlocks it or super ghost 4. At this point my fanfic/fantasy land is a crossover from many different series, obviously starting with just DP, Bleach, (fits perfectly), Sailor Moon, DBZ (not plot wise or blowing up planets, just power up sequences and fight scenes based from DBZ) and pretty much my character doesn't even use ghost abilities anymore cause they render useless compared to the powers he has now. My gf pretty much stopped at the timeskip and thought it was good enough for her, so i might do the same unless i end wanting more and i end up getting caught up which then i would have to read the manga since after the timeskip toei got lazy,
Bleach is pretty much being cancelled by Shounen Jump since well the company and Kubo don't get along well and judging how Jump cancelled Nisekoi and pretty much advertising One Piece more and more and been less advertising Bleach and pretty much there are videos better explaining whats been going on behind the scenes since Kubo had to rush things and there's even signs in the manga itself kubo is signifying. heres the videos www.youtube.com/watch?v=5dqtq3…

Ah. I see. Yeah, my approach was always that the power was more internal. I gave him the flame hair because I wanted that tie-in with Dark Danny, because the source of this transformation essentially comes from the same thing that led to the creation of Dark Danny in the first place. But you doing a crossover thing has your approach making a bit more sense.
Well, I really only read the manga, anyway. Don't really watch the anime much, unless its one of the movies, or a special like "3D2Y". I will say, things got very interesting after the time skip, though. I mean, it took another two whole story arcs before they finally encountered enemies that they had to put actual EFFORT into beating up. ^_^
Well, you've got to admit, for a final story arc, Kubo certainly took his sweet time with it. Kind of makes you wonder if he was all that eager to end it after all. And I was never into Nisekoi. I read the last few chapters, just to see how it ended, but truthfully, I haven't really been interested in that type of series since Love Hina (which, to this day, I still think is very good).

Eh...more like ONE day. I figured I could bang both these pics out faster than I did. The end result being that I didn't get much in the way of sleep, yesterday...AND IT WAS MY FIRST NIGHT BACK AT WORK AFTER VACATION! Still, once I'd started, I couldn't stop, so I'll take the heat for it. I should get PLENTY of sleep today.
