In celebration of going to Animethon 21, the week before (the longest running anime convention in Canada...that's right, WE were doing it BEFORE it was cool!), I decided to add to my Danny Phantom cosplay collection (my first two pics are here... and ).To be honest, I was hoping to crank these pics out much more frequently, but other projects just seem to keep taking priority.
This pic features the rest of the Fenton family getting in on the fun. Jack has come out, dressed as Android 8 from "Dragonball" (one of the few anime characters whose shoes he's big enough to fill), Maddie as Dorothy Wayneright from "The Big O" (matching Jack's costume by dressing up as an android in her own right...or "Wayneright", as the case may be), Jazz as Asuka Tenjoin from "Yu-Gi-Oh GX" (I was originally planning to cosplay her as Orihime Inoue from "Bleach", but Jazz hasn't got the figure for it...truthfully, she hasn't got the figure for Asuka, either, but they're much closer, in terms of personality) and Danielle as Pan from "Dragonball GT" (''nuff said).
Jack and Maddie's skin tones obviously look different, since they've made themselves up to more closely resemble the complexions of their characters. And I had to fool with Jazz and Danielle's hair a bit. That aside, though, I'm very pleased with how the pic turned out...especially Maddie, since this is only my second time drawing her and my first time drawing her without her Haz-Mat hood on. Truthfully, I might have gotten this done much sooner, but I kept taking time out to admire the work since I was so happy with how it was progressing. Hopefully, everyone else feels the same way.^_^

Danny's obviously dressed as Tuxedo Mask, but who is Sam dressed as?

Sam is dressed as Juri Han, from Street Fighter IV. Actually, Sam was the tougher of the two to place. I knew right off the bat that I wanted to draw Danny as Tuxedo Mask (I mean, come on, look at the guy). But Sam, I had a really tough time finding a character for. The truth is, the thought of dressing her as Juri was actually a complete bolt out of the blue for me. But then, I guess the best ideas always are. I mean, I'll grant that Juri's personality is a little slutty for Sam's taste. But in the Street Fighter universe, she's basically the "anti Chuni-Li". And you know how Sam never misses an opportunity to be "anti" things, so...

I understand, Androids 17 and 18 are clearly more popular and recognizable, but it all started with Android 8.

Sweet pic. Loved DBZ and DBGT. Big O was okay, and I absolutely loved the original Yugioh. Nice job!

Well, Asuka was from Yugioh GX, but I liked the original Yugioh, too. For the record, once this art set is complete, I'll finally be getting off my butt and completing a Yugioh fanfic that I've actually had on the back burner for years.
True, Android 8 did make a cameo appearance in Dragonball Z. GT has some interesting moments, even if, by and large, it's not considered canon. And the Big O, I've never actually seen, but I've been curious.

I'd seen Big O, but only in passing as I got ready for school in the mornings since it used to come on at 5:30 am and I always get up at 5 in the morning. It used to confuzzle my young mind since I'd ended up watching the show from the middle of the series. As for Yugioh, I'd tried to get into the later series like GX, but it couldn't hold my interest. I guess I'm a genwuner for Yugioh, hehe. As for DB, DBZ, and DBGT, loved the entire series, and even how it ended.

Well, the Big O was never on TV in my neck of the woods.
As for Yugioh, I admit, the original series is still the best. The later series have tried, but their stories just get too convoluted for their own good and they don't answer all the questions they should.
As for Dragonball, I know all of it, too. I'll admit that GT isn't my favorite, but I won't rag on it, like others will.

I completely agree. GT was alright, loved super sayian 4 Goku and Vegeta. Especially when they did fusion. Fusion equals comic relief. Hehe. For Yugioh, I just kept getting confuzzled with all the different things that happened. I eventually stopped watching after the first season of the second gen. Anyway, once again, great drawing and can't wait to see what you'll do next!

You were probably correct to do it. The translated versions of Yugioh GX and 5Ds each skipped over an entire storyline at the end. Not that including those storylines would have really answered any questions you may have had. But even so...I'm hoping that Yugioh Zexal is a little better for that. And I don't know anything about Yugioh ARC-V, yet.
As for my next drawing, that is going to be my 40,000-Hit commemorative pic, which will be posted sometime this weekend.

Wow. I didn't know you were planning a Yugioh fanfic. Can we still expect a KP and DP story along with it?

Oh, it's a TRAGIC story. I actually had this fic 90% completed, years ago (I only had two scenes left to write). But then, the file was lost and I had to completely start over again, from scratch. I just never had the strength to finally finish it. But this time around, I think it's time to finally get it done.
This means, unfortunately, that there won't be a KP story in my next fanfic run. My next DP story, however, WILL be released as scheduled.

Glad to hear it. In retrospect, I might have tweaked Jazz's mouth a TINY bit, but that's minor in the big scheme. I just figured that since her hair is always pulled back, getting it to look like Asuka's wouldn't be much of a stretch.^_^

Interesting choices for costumes you've gone with, but I can see them matching their characters. One can only imagine who Tucker would dress as. You should really consider taking your Cosplay pics with you to that convention.

Actually, I already know who Tucker is going to dress up as. It's just going to be a pretty convoluted pic when I finally draw it.
