Well, here it is. After a week of people weighing in on designs and after a nip here and a tuck there, Danny and Sam now stand before you to unveil Sam's "official" ghost logo to the world (again, I use " " because obviously, I don't own the rights to Danny' Phantom).What you're seeing is basically the fifth logo design I made, with a little added swirl on the inside of the "S", in an effort to make the "ghostly eye" just a little more eye-like. Like most things I design from scratch, I wasn't entirely sure how good it would look until I actually did it, but I think it's a nice little addition which also accentuates the "S" just a little bit more.
This pic also acts as a bit of a Thank-you card of sorts to DA member, , without whom this moment would not have come to pass. While I was thinking about making a logo for Sam for a while, it wasn't until she graced me with a design of her own that the brain cells actually kicked in and I started visualizing designs of my own. And while the end result is not her design, nevertheless, I credit her with this logo's creation, because without that original design, I'd still be sitting around, humming and hawing about it.
Sweetie, this moment is as much for you as it is for us. And Danny and Sam really can't thank you enough. I really hope you'll stand and enjoy this moment with us because you really did make this possible. As for everyone else, I hope you like what you see.
And on a slightly unrelated topic, seeing Sam without her coat on, I have to say, I'm really glad I threw the coat into her design. Even with the alterations she made to one of Danny's suits, she just looks kind of plain without it, doesn't she?

Well, you could have made a larger canvas or simply drawn Ember smaller. Either way would work.

For the record, the ST stands for Sam Tasma, the ghost name I gave her in my fanfics. Basically, it's a play off the word "phantasm". Granted, it's not a TERRIFIC name, but it was honestly the best I could come up with. Believe me, I came up with some pretty crappy thoughts for names before settling on this one.

Glad you think so, especially after you just saw the logo itself in the previous pic. This version has just a light little tweak in the S, but it's basically the same thing.

Oh, well, the metal arm's going to stay the same, no worries about that (though I might alter its design a TINY bit). As for Radou's design itself, I'm really only thinking of doing a few minor things. For one, his shirt, I'm thinking of having the sleeve of his right arm not rolled up, while the sleeve for his metal arm is actually torn. The other thing I'm thinking of is maybe fusing his vest and cape together (you'll see what I mean when you see the drawing, I actually think it'll look pretty cool). I'm also thinking of giving him Vlad-like fangs, which will show more of his demonic nature. And I might do something with his eyes, too. I haven't decided yet.
All in all, the design will still be yours. I'll just be adding a few of my own little tweaks to it.

Alright, well, I'm ready to go with the intro whenever you are. We're going to have to make this quick, though, because we've only got 10 days left to the deadline. And even if I don't color this thing (which I'd like to do), hard-lining the scans alone is going to take forever.

Actually, you're probably better off just giving it to me. I don't think it'll make much difference either way. But once I have the script, I can get straight to work, starting tomorrow. I don't imagine the pencil work is going to take too long (that shouldn't take more than a couple of days). It's the hard lines and (possible) color that's going to end up taking the largest block of time.

Looks interesting. I may have to tweak the dialogue just a tiny little bit to get it to fit with the flow of the images on the page. But the overall gist of what you've provided will be there. So I'll be starting the pencil work today. I'm hoping I'll finish today as well, but if not, I'm relatively certain I'll get it done tomorrow.

Well, I had two options with the pose. They're standing more or less the way I wanted them to. But my initial thought was to show them with their free hands gesturing towards the logo, kind of to draw focus to it. But while that would have looked good, too, there was a risk that Danny's arm would have ended up obscuring his own logo, which I wanted to be every bit as visible as Sam's. So I kind of wen the other way and went with more of a "TA-DAAA!" moment for it. All in all, I think it works just as well.
And as for the thank you, it truly is from the heart. Your efforts were very much appreciated in leading to the design of this logo.

Well, since the logo is on the back of her coat, I don't know how many times it'll actually be seen in pics. If it were in an animated episode, I have no doubt you'd see it quite a bit. But hey, at least everyone will know it's there.

Well, with Sam's jacket buttoned up, there wouldn't be enough unobstructed space on her chest to show it. I could have put it like a pin on her lapel, but obviously, that wouldn't be giving it the emphasis it deserved. So I opted for the back of her coat, which was basically a blank canvas crying out for something.

Yeah, like I say, if it was an animated episode, I have no doubt that you'd see Sam's logo a lot more than you'll see it in my actual pics. But like I say, at least you'll know it's there.
