Well, another day, another pic (literally). This one comes to us by way of a scene from one of my fanfics, entitled "The Possible Substitution Squad". After Kim, Ron and Max save Wade, Rufus, Monique, Felix and Zita from the Bebe bots and their new AI Queen, everyone falls back to Bueno Nacho for a well-deserved break. However, since Kim and Ron were interrupted in the middle of an all-night, globetrotting date to come to the rescue, they're still naturally in quite an amorous mood...which naturally leads to some affectionate displays.As you can see, they have a few onlookers taking in the moment as well. But it's not so much the kissing that's catching their attention as the continuous murmurs that are traded back and forth between Kim and Ron as their lips remain locked together. There's even a point in the middle of the kiss where Kim giggles...
"Okayβ¦were they ACTUALLY just making out and having a conversation at the same time," Felix asks.
"Oh, probably," Max answers simply, being the only one who didn't bother to look. "Actually, I'm kind of impressed. Their lung capacity is excellent."
Kind of wanted to have this pic done a little sooner today, but what can I say? I dawdled. I spent too much time admiring my work at various stages...particularly going back to the Kim/Ron kiss as I was especially proud of how that turned out. Hopefully everyone else is just as pleased with it.^_^

Yes, they are a couple to root for.Β Personally, though, whenever I think of them, I think of the song, "Count on Me" by Default.Β I think of the first verse as going from Kim to Ron and the second verse as going from Ron to Kim.
No Dr. D/Shego romance pics in the offing, but I won't say it'll never happen.

The big problem of public kissing is that it encourages rubber-neckers. It isn't exactly something you want, even if they are amongst your closest friends!

I don't know. I see people kissing in public, I generally have the sense to not look. Still, in this situation, I doubt Kim and Ron are paying much attention.^_^

Well, I got my Commemorative Pic completed today (now just another 536 Hits until I can post it). In truth, this pic took longer to finish than I thought it would. Had to experiment with a couple of things on one aspect of the pic before I found a process that I felt worked. Still it's done and ready to go. Now to get to work on what will be my ACTUAL next posting...

Yeah, I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out. Now, like I say, on to my next pic. With any luck, I'll at least get the pencil work done on it tomorrow, then get it ready for posting on Thursday.

Well, truth be told, I could have gotten it done sooner (like I said in my description, I kind of dawdled on this one). Still, yes, I have noticed that I've been getting faster with pics. Probably because I keep learning new tricks every time to make things go faster. Another thing I've done with recent pics is increase my brush size from a 6p brush to an 8p brush. Heavier lines make for less noticeable wobbling and therefore, less cleanup.
Glad you like the pic, too. Like I said, it's about time I got a K/R kiss in my Gallery.^_^
