Well folks, here we are. A new year and a new piece of artwork from me...new in more ways than one. ^_^

Now, just for the record, this picture doesn't mean Steven Universe is suddenly going to be part of my regular artwork rotation. In all honestly, this picture wasn't even planned, in any way. It mostly came to my mind through a surge of inspiration, after seeing the last episode, "Together Alone".

Because...it wasn't just me, right? You all saw it, too. Connie was looking pretty jacked in that episode. There were moments where, looking at her, you'd think she could bench-press half the people in that room. Granted, half the people in the room were smaller than her, but you get where I'm going with this.

So here's where we find ourselves, with me basically taking that appearance to its logical extension. Character-wise, I actually think it would work for her pretty well. And as you can see, there's obviously one other person, in particular, who wouldn't mind one bit. ^_^
