In spite of the fact that I'm still planning on making weekly postings for my art, I am going to be taking things slowly for the next little while. These last few pics I've been doing have just been such huge projects that it's just completely worn me out. To that end, my next few submissions are going to be fairly simple ones, allowing me to still make regular postings, but will still give me a chance to recharge and get my strength back.This pic comes to us from a request by , who wanted me to draw her OCs, Bianca and Blair (who incidentally are the same person, Blair being Bianca's ghost form). Obviously, she wanted to see them in my DP style and I think it worked out pretty good. I took a few small liberties and simplified some of the designs from the reference pics she gave me. But when it was all said and done, I was quite pleased with it. I'm also glad to see that my skills at drawing pleated skirts hasn't diminished over the years. After all, it's been a LONG time since I've drawn Sailor Moon.
So , this one's for you. Hope you end up being as happy with the end result as I am. And as for everyone else, as always, I hope you like what you see.^_^

You just have to be careful not to fall into the obvious trap, which is having your OCs overshadowing the established canon characters.

Also I posted the beginning to a drawing of Burner's future girlfriend Jess but I'm having trouble finishing it. I'm trying to give a knock out body but it hard to copy Butch's art style and I could use a little help.

Yes, I was talking about the Plant pic. That one is coming (and maybe sooner than you think, since I'm going to try and get a few pics done next week, what with me being on vacation and all).
Well, as for Jess, Exactly what kind of body are you trying to give her? While some are middle-of-the-road, it's been my observation that there are three main body types in Danny Phantom. Do you want her to have kind of a thin body, like Sam or Jazz? Do you want her to have a body like Ember or Paulina, who have modest bust sizes, but shapely legs and tight, round butts? Or you you want her to just be all-out voluptuous like Maddie or Desiree? Or are you maybe looking for a combination? The answer you give me here will give me a chance to help you out.
And as for your note, yeah, I know all about the Regis in Pokemon. Elgyem might be a suggestion, too.

I wanted to give her a body like Desiree, so as to set up for the jokes about how her larges breasts sometimes hinder her work in the junkyard. I figured she's like a punk tomboy, not shy about making comments about her body that would make others blush.

I see. So you want to go the ironic route where she's a tomboy, but she's got a really soft, ultra-feminine voluptuous body. I suppose we can work with that. However, any comments about said body (boobs, butt, whatever...) would probably be best referred to as "behind-the-scenes" comments, so as not to threaten my fanfic series' K+ rating.^_^

Is that okay I mean I don't wanna jeopardize your rating or anything. How about this instead of her making comments like what I said earlier we could do sight gags, like she's crawling into a pipe to get at a part and her voluptuousness gets her stuck.

Well, I would think part of her realizes it, but chooses not to acknowledge it. Something could even be thrown in with Burner commenting on how NO female mechanic should EVER be that hot.
Well, minor sight gags could work. Just as long as they're tastefully depicted.

I thought it was so funny cause the set up is Death is a depressed goth/emo, War is the moody, emotionally ensecure jock, Famine is a ditzy fashionista, and Pestilence can be the messy, tomboy.

Hmmmm, well, not that it's a bad idea, but I'm not entirely sure how well it would play, if for no other reason than because from what I hear, Butch Hartman is a deeply religious guy. I suppose if we tweaked it enough and made them their own people, kind of like they did with Pandora in "Boxed Up Fury", it might work. but I kind of have a twinge of doubt. Hang onto this idea, though, because we COULD come up with something. This is not one of those ideas that I'm rejecting out of hand. I just kind of have a bit of trepidation.
Actually, do you want me to run this idea by my guy on Facebook and see if HE thinks it would play as a fanfic idea? After all, he knows Hartman WAY better than I do.
Okay, one other quick question, while I've got you here. I want to start the pencil work on your plant pic. Refresh my memory again on how you want Danny to look?

Well I was just going to see if you thought it was funny it wasn't a real pitch, but if you like it and think it could run then by all means run it by your Facebook friend see what he thinks. And your right it could use a tweak or to but mainly I was focused on the funny aspect of how these four figure whom everyone fears turn out to be not only girls but normal sisters.
Now as for the plant pick what I'm going for is a male version of what same was wearing while being controled by Undergrowth. So green muscle shirt and ling shorts, the same eyes she had and messed hair. I would say throw in the spiked bands she had on but I don't think it world go over well since Danny isn't goth.
Now while I've got your ear, when you have time could you draw a personnel pic for me, you don't have to post it cause it for a role play me and a friend are doing. It's a family photo of Beetlejuice, an older Lydia, Burner, and his sister (my friends OC) Lucy. I'll send you a pic for reference if you can do it. There no rush.

As for the concept, itself, my only real problem would have to Famine as this Paris Hilton-like celebutante, because that just SCREAMS anorexia. Maybe older members in the audience would pick up on the parody, but what about the younger ones who don't know any better?
Now as for the plant pic, you say muscle shirt, so I'm guessing you mean a tank top? As for your other request, I have to be honest, I REALLY don't have the strength to try and do Beetlejuice (and I'm not that big a fan of him, anyway).

First when I told you about the 4 horsemen idea I thought you'd reject it straight away because of who it and I am sorry that I didn't say that I was just sharing a funny idea. Second as for Famine what would you suggest cause to be honest she is the hardest to place, but if I had to come up with something maybe a skinny lanky brainy girl? I don't know but I'm happy you liked the idea.
Now moving on to Plant Danny yeah a tank top could work, or unless you wanna do something else. I'm open to criticism, and as for the Beetlejuice pic I can understand an respect your decision I myself have been so tired lately that I haven't had the energy to finish Jess or even start on Crescenda. BTW you don't remember the look for we settled on do you?

Well, for what it's worth, he liked the idea. He wasn't as concerned as I was over the Famine thing, but he understood where I was coming from. I have to be honest, though, I haven't got a clue how to place her.
As for the plant pic, well, I thought Danny was going to be shirtless. But it's true I don't really remember. I mean, I'm sure I could find the original message, somewhere, but we've had so many messages running back and forth that I wouldn't even know where to begin. So I was hoping you'd maybe remembered what you wanted so we could fast track the process, seeing as how it was your request and all.

Wait wait, your right it was shirtless I just found my notes, and it says and I quote. "Danny shirtless with long shorts in the same fashion as Sam'a outfit, thorn collar and the same eye style as Sam." Anything else you wanna ad to that to make the pic look cooler is fine.

Can't really think of anything offhand, except maybe them sitting on a giant flower, with probably a simple sky thrown into the background. I'm still kind of trying to think about what kinds of positions to put them in or facial expressions I want them to have. After all, despite the subject, I want the pic to be more sweet than sinister. I guess I'll just have to play a little guess-and-test and see what ultimately works.

Well the flower sound like a step in the righ direction and the back ground should be easy. If you want my advice for facial expressions maybe do something romantic or something. But yeah a guess and test sounds like a good idea.

Well, I WOULD like something romantic. Thing is, you want their eyes to be the same as when Sam was possessed, suggesting a sinister undercurrent which could make a romantic image kind of tough. But like I say, I'll knock a few things around and see what works.

Well I know of one scene from that episode where she didn't look sinister. It was in the lab when she was pleading with Danny to stay with her she had this sultry look in her eyes I not to big to say it was pretty hot.
Oh btw I'm gonna be posting picture of the cars Burner built for Danny and Sam. I decide to go with cars form a video game that have te look of real name cars for the sake of avoiding any nasty copyrights stuff.

Oh, I remember, that scene. Those were a few examples where Sam's feelings for Danny were kind of shining through, despite her brainwashing. There were also those momentary lapses where she hesitated to attack him. But still, I need to run some tests to see what could work.
