Welcome to Amity Park, 10 years in the future. And oh look, here are Danny Phantom and Sam Manson, 10 years in the future as well. Just let that be a warning to anyone looking to come into town and cause trouble...THIS is what you've got there waiting for you.This is my future version of Danny and Sam that were brought to the present by Clockwork to fight Dark Danny in my first DP fanfic, "Facing the Future" (which you can find on fanfiction.net, along with my other fanfics, using the link here...[link] ). For the record, this isn't what Danny typically wears in the future. He simply wore it for that mission alone as kind of a disguise. This, however, IS what Sam typically wears in the future when she goes ghost. As you can see, she also went through a bit of a piercing phase, too (believe me, you should see how much metal she has in her ears).
For the record, I was really tempted to throw some cool Ghost Ray effects into this one, but I decided against it, because I felt it would obscure a lot. I wanted this to be a profile pic more than anything, so I really wanted to show off as much as possible. This is why I even threw in the flaming skull, which is actually on the back of Sam's coat. But since you obviously can't see her back, I wanted to add it in.
Actually, I was thinking about who would do Future Danny and Future Sam's voices if my story was actually an animated episode (hey, it's nice to dream). While Eric Roberts was a good choice to play Dark Danny, his voice wouldn't exactly be the best fit for this obviously brighter version of Danny's future. So after a lot of thinking, it finally came to me that Micheal Rosenbaum (who voiced the Flash on Justice League and JLU) would be a really great fit, clearly older sounding, but not as sinister. As for Future Sam, I did a lot of thinking there as well and thought that Nicole Sullivan (known for voicing such sassy females as Shego and Drew Saturday) would be perfect for playing an older version of Sam. If you get to reading "Facing the Future", try to hear their voices saying the words and see if you agree.
Anyway, enough of my ramblings. You didn't come here to listen to me talk. I'll just say that a lot of work went into this one and I'm really pleased with the final product. I hope everyone else feels the same.

When you say "transformed states", do you mean their human forms? Or do you mean the "advanced forms" they changed into at the end of "Facing the Future"? Oh well, I guess it doesn't matter. See, in my next series of pics, I'll be drawing two pictures. One of Future Danny and one of Future Sam. And each of those pictures will be like an evolution flow. You'll get to see them each as human, then transformed and then in their "advanced form". But like I say, that'll be my next set of pics, after this set is completed and I've finished work on my next Danny Phantom fanfic, "Laws of Attraction".
Speaking of fics, I noticed that you faved "Facing the Future" on ff.net. Hopefully, you'll enjoy the other stories in my series just as much.

Also I saw the dancing pic earlier with Sam's spiderweb dress. Very nice, only thing you lost your perseption of Height. They were too damn tall.

Well, I've got high hopes that both those pics will turn out just fine. As for the pic of Danny and Sam at the dance, I'll admit I made their legs too long, but what can I say? It was one of those things that you don't really notice when you're in the heat of the actual drawing process.
Oh well, hopefully, my next pic will make up for it. It's a Danny Phantom holiday pic, which is a little late to the party, but that's only because it was such a complicated draw, pencil-wise. Considering that this is the first time I've drawn Danielle, Jazz, Tucker, Valerie, Jack or Maddie, there was quite a bit of guess-and-test required. But in the end, I was glad I stuck it out and finished it, because I'm quite pleased with the end result. Of course, I've only gotten the pencil work done, but I should have the hard lines and color done for tomorrow. I figure if I can still get it posted by the end of the weekend, I'll be fine.
In the meantime, though, I hope you've had a chance to enjoy the rest of the stories in my Danny Phantom fanfic series. I currently have eight stories in it ("Laws of Attraction" will be the ninth...once I get it written, of course).

About those stories, wouldn't it make more sense to have them all as one story and then just make the ones you did that coinside with one another chapters of it?
I mean I tried reading them but I was overwelmed when i found out that each one was like 20,000 words long apiece.
I want to read them but it feels like I'll never get it done.

Hmmm, well, I'll admit that some of my stories do get pretty long-winded ("Pairing Off" was one such story where I was especially guilty of that). so how does this sound. Maybe it would be a better idea if you read my stories here. (Both my Kim Possible and Danny Phantom fics are posted here). The reason I suggest that is because DA has a 64K limit on all text submissions. So in order to get my stories to post, I had to divide pretty much all of my stories into chapters (and even some of my chapters into smaller chapters) in order to get them all to fit. So maybe if you went and gave my stories a look-see here, it might make them a little bit easier for you to digest.

I think the original voice actress for Sam (namely Grey DeLisle) would do just great for an older version of Sam.
BTW, i love how you depicted then 10 years in the future!

Granted, but I thought thinking outside the box was more appropriate, thinking on a different voice for Future Danny and all. Anyway, I'm glad you liked the pic. Hope you liked the others and know that there's more on the way.

Glad you like them. Those I designed for my fanfics, too. Well, I really should say fanFIC, since Future Danny and Future Sam only appeared in my first story, "Facing the Future". But I do plan on doing stuff with them again, mostly showing how the future has turned out with no Dark Danny around to muck things up.

That's usually the case. Funny thing with me, I never get colds and flus in the winter when everybody else gets them. I always end up getting them in the summer, when you wouldn't ever think to get them.

Glad you like the picture and my stories. I really like that my fics and my pics are doing what I wanted to bring attention to each other (if my pics can get people looking at my stories and vice versa, it's always good to find new admirers for both sides of my work). I hope you like the other Danny Phantom pics I've done here as well and rest assured, there are more on the way.
Actually, once I'm done with the final pic of this current set (which will hopefully be sometime this week), I'm going to start work on my next Danny Phantom fic, entitled, "Stolen Years". The plan is to have it finished by the end of next week and ready to post the weekend after (I prefer posting fics on weekends to maximize their exposure to readers...no school and whatnot). So that's something ELSE you'll have to look forward to as well).

Well, I hope to have a new pic out and posted fairly quickly. In the meantime, though, an interesting thing has happened. Turns out, an interesting little schedule arrangement at work has me working eight days on and six days off (the six days starting next Wednesday). Now, don't quote me on this to anybody, because this is far from a guarantee. But if I can use my time effectively, there's a chance...a very SLIM chance...that I might be able to get my next DP fic, "Stolen Years" posted for next Saturday. We'll have to see.

Well, if all goes according to plan, you shouldn't have to wait too much longer. Right now, my plan is to finish the last pic in my current set this week so that I can spend as much of next week working on my next DP fic, "Stolen Years" (I have it more or less completely mapped out in my head, so all that remains is to actually sit down and write it). I'm taking Friday and Saturday off next week as vacation days so I'll have that time to work on it. And while I might not have it posted next week, I'll at least get it finished and ready for posting the week after. Then it's on to my next set of pics. If I can get "Stolen Years" finished, as well as get a couple more pics done in my next set, this'll have been a good month's work.

Well, glad to finally have a visual of the version of Danny that replaced the nightmare that he almost became and what fate has in store for Sam know (although, I think I can do without knowing about those piercings). I'm curious about two things: First, how they sound, cause personally, I sort of picture Danny sounding similar to alternate self and Sam being voiced by Grey in a deeper tone. Second, I wonder just how different the future of Amity Park is now. One thing's for certain: it's definitely got to be a lot brighter than Dark Danny's. But then again, any future would be an improvement to that one! LOL!

Glad you like the picture (at least it sounds like that's what you're saying). AS for Sam's piercings, well, like I said in the story, she does have earrings all around the rim of her ears (which, if you think about it, is really not all that uncommon). As for the voices, it's true that I was going to throw in a little blurb as to who I thought would make good voices for Future Danny and Future Sam if this story was an animated episode (I was just so jazzed after finally getting this picture done that I just plain forgot), so I just went back and added it to my initial comments. Feel free to check it out. As for what the world's going to be like in Future Danny and Future Sam's time, well, I am planning on writing a fanfic about that. But since it'll likely be the last Danny Phantom fic I ever write, it's not going to be out there for quite a while.

Okay, glad you like the added comment. As for the piercings, yeah, you want to go back to the end of Chapter Three in "Facing the Future" after Danny blasts Future Sam's motorcycle helmet off and he sees her face for the first time. That's when all of her piercings are mentioned. As for the future of Amity Park, well, we've discussed that a few times already. As for fans looking forward to things, well, maybe my pics will draw them into my stories (and vice versa) as I've hoped.

Glad to hear it. Not including the pencil work, this picture represents over nine hours of straight work (and one SERIOUS hand cramp when it was all said and done). But it was definitely worth it to see it completed. I'm very happy with it.
