Backstory:

Rory was a human! He isn't really sure what happened that would cause him to wake up in the pokemon world...he awoke in a bright, leafy forest with no memory of how he got there, and very fuzzy memories of recent events. This freaked him out at first more than the discovery that he wasn't even a human anymore...actually, oh. Is that a tail? He was quickly distracted by his new form, giggling with delight as he played with his new long tail and ears. He even climbed a tree all by himself! From there, he spotted a small settlement a little ways away, and curiously made his way there.

He lived in the small village for about 2 years, getting by doing odd jobs, making new friends, and exploring this fascinating world, but after confiding in his closest friend where he really was from he was whisked off to live up in the Wandering Islands, for his own protection. His friend was hopeful that they'd make it up there too one day, but that day hasn't arrived yet, and Rory waits impatiently.

His memories of human life are still foggy, but he does recall a bit when he tries. He keeps a journal where he writes down things he remembers, though it isn't much to form a complete picture. He remembers being in high school, camping trips, towering forests, the ocean...and there's an undertone of anxiety and fear. What is it? Does he want to remember?

Rory is pretty easy to get along with as far as most pokemon go, and often makes friends wherever he goes thanks to his bright eyes and playful smile! He's eager to please, and loves helping around the guild and the rest of the town. He often gets lost in daydreams and other thoughts, however, and it might not seem like he's paying attention at all times, which can make him flustered! He'll do his best regardless! He also has a tendency to overestimate his ability to accomplish certain tasks or his knowledge on a particular subject, and gets in over his head quite often. He means well, just needs a little guidance every now and then to put him on the right path.

TRIVIA:

- Rory loves food more than anything! He has a keen nose for it and frequently goes foraging for goodies while out on an adventure. He's an excellent cook and loves sharing meals with his friends, too!
- Works part time at the local bakery. Come say hi!
- Usually prefers his pokemon form over his gijinka one ("I'm so much cuter like this!")
- Extremely clumsy. Usually has at least a few scratches or bruises after an excursion that aren't battle-related, such as tripping or bumping into things.
