Day 2 - Favourite Sauropod
Brachiosaurus altithorax. Sometimes, you just can't beat the classics, and this is certainly one of those times. Despite the fact that most popular depictions of this animal are technically based on Giraffatitan, the name Brachiosaurus is just so iconic that it's probably one of the first animals that come to mind when you think of sauropods, along with Brontosaurus and Diplodocus.
Although it's no longer considered to have been the largest sauropod, it still manages to capture the sheer majesty of these beings in a way few others do.
