Description
My entry for August Contest.Nidoking is in middle of Trash while Weezing is going to use Explosion.
It was fun because both pokemon are poison. And also one is ground type but another one has Levitate ability.

Oh wow... That almost looks like indiscriminate random lettering to me. That doesn't even follow English pronunciation rules. I thought Russian was bad. Lots of "s" and "Z" X_x
What in general does the "W" stand for?

It reminds me a little of "y" in Spanish, meaning "and." I'd say that seeing lone letters for words seems strange to me, but I'd forget the use of "I" in my own language.

I see. The logic/context associated with the words don't clearly translate. That happens sometimes. There was a little of that in German, but it was more a problem with individual terms that were in our dictionary, but not theirs.
Translation to/from Japanese is apparently full of this sort of thing.

How to show Weezing in some good and dynamic attacking pose? It's just a couple of balls with eyes and mouths D:

You did it great light effects, but I think you don't need to bother with the time you took, art is not a production work, I know so many people say the time they took to make their works, but I think this is not a measure of their skills. Almost any great picture of the museums took more than a year to its author: Picasso, Velazquez, Modigliani,...
I think if you are training your skills you have to take all the time you need it, this way I think they will increase as good as they seems to be until now

Well, I bet if I have done it in my usuall way I would finish it faster. But I wanted to test different paiting style...
I'm perfectionist... Very useful attribute but also can make life difficult... I watched some videos where one guy is makig so awesome paiting in less than 2 hours. And they are so realistic! I know if I want to paint like him I would spend much more time than him.
Besides for training my skills I should paint about 10 still lifes/week. But I'm too lazy and this is too boring U_U'
Look at my Devious Info, at favourite artist. James Gurney. His pictures are so f*cking awesome realistic. With just the few brush lines he can do such a great effects! This is my aim D:<

I've taken a look to this artist, I don't remember his name but I had already seen his work for dinotopia series. I see what you say, I think that to reach his way to paint is necessary to learn some basics about light behavior, reflection, colour temperature, etc... and how all of this changes the colour of the objects, he applies this things to give a realistic look with only a few brushstrokes.
I'm very perfectionist about painting too, I think this is the way the shelf-taught artist become better (or become obssesive-compulsive, wichever occur first)

Well in a way it's good, too. ._. Because most pokemon clubs you can get into without a second thought. That group is for like... extremely awesomely amazing arts, so it has to keep it's standards up.
It's a good thing to work forward to if you think about it. Because once you get in, you know you're awesome.

Hm, there have rules you should obliged. Indeed they are severe, but still understandable. It's a group of mostly hight quality pictures where scrawls or doodles don't qualify
However I saw there something that looked not such good compared to other works there, but it was done in unique style.
You should try get into group like I'm watching it also.
