I imagine Lickitung as some kind of lazy reptilian thing that barely can move.

Yvetal's more like the Angel of deathΒ rather than the personification of Satan, that's more Giratina. Yeah, the PokΓ©mon world may seem like a happy go lucky place to live in as the anime depicts it to beΒ but really it's quite the dangerous if you're not careful or aware, I feel bad for PokΓ©mon trainers sometimes

After seeing this it occurs to me that most long tongued critters are reptiles or amphibians, but for some reason I always imagined Lickitung as a furry mammal. Lol

Yes. The sketch was done when I was interested in the parietal eye that use to be in early vertebratas (now only in some amphibians and reptiles). It was often featured in my "Snouts" serie (hasn't uploaded on DeviantArt yet).
Aside of that, I have been examining a crane fly spieces, and their ocelli also influences my work.

Anyway, awesome picture though, and great depiction of Lickitung. Makes total sense he'd be kinda lizardy, although in my head he was always really gross and fleshy XD This version is much nicer

Well, the Nidoran is kind of curled and crushed, so it isn't beheaded, just the proportions may seems so. The pokemon is suffocating, but is still defending itself with its barbs/hair/scales.

Tournaments are full of pussies that drool on smogon, with overused pokemon. There is no skill in tournaments, only overdone strategies and the occasional surprise.
Because I recently played black on the computer and I haven't played black 2. Plus there are pokemon from previous gens there, so I don't have to migrate everything, which is so exhausting haha.Β
